So watched the finale of the Mandalorian. There was so much shooting I couldn’t tell who was fighting who. Really, this whole season was a let down. I kept waiting for it to “ get better”. Still getting through “Jessica Jones”. For a Marvel movie, I tell you some of these scenes shouldn’t even “ go there”. But, I chalk it up to Hollywood, and go do some laundry until it moves on to the next scene….LOL. I thought Mandalorian was still pretty good, but I get what you are saying. I felt like it was more disjointed than previous seasons. It was more disjointed. But the ending made me happy. Season 4 or no, this episode didn't disappoint me as it tied it all together well.

And that show is enough! Love Angela Walters! She's a nut! But she's definitely entertaining. We are opposites, though. I like piecing and designing better than quilting. She would much rather be quilting. I always worry about her "piecing potion" spilling onto the fabric, though.. She is fun to watch! Right now, I’m focusing on getting better on machine quilting. I like to be able to take my quilts from choosing fabric to finished product.

I could just understand if some people didn't like the recent reason as much as the first two.

Started a new series this week: Fauda. Series has several seasons, but I just found it. First season was very good. I'll keep on with it. It's all subtitles though. Well, at first it was about half subtitles, and they were dubbing English, but I turned that off, and started watching just subtitles. It's pretty gritty, but well done.
Watched Star wars Visions season 2, As a whole, enjoyed it more than season 1, but season 1 still has a couple of my favorites. I see it as extremely well done fan fiction, since it's not canon. Season 2 has several beautiful episodes, with good stories, a couple less enjoyable, but overall good.
DH found a new show: Lucky Hank. He said I'd probably like it, so will try that soon.
for movies...DH and DD saw Guardians 3 this weekend. DD tries to see all the new Marvel movies on the premier night. they both liked it. I'm struggling to avoid spoilers, not sure when I"ll see it. Ditto on John Wick 4. DH doesn't enjoy the John Wick movies much, so I might just go by myself, but probably just wait until streaming. I do hope to see GotG sooner.
otherwise, still VERY much enjoying Ted Lasso and Call the Midwife.

We have a reclining seat theatre near us that does $8 Tuesdays. We saw John Wick 4 several weeks back. There's just something about the flying bullets and bodies (and, no, I don't consider that a spoiler for a John Wick movie ) on the big screen.
We get back home at midnight tonight (so to bed by maybe 1:30) and then have tickets for GotG later in the evening at that theatre.
Some things were meant for the big screen. Especially at 8 bucks a pop.
And I'll throw in another shout out for "Night Agent" and "Shadow and Bone" on Netflix.
Cheers.

On Netflix, I am watching two great docuseries called “ Lennox Hill” and “Emergency NYC”. As a retired Respiratory Therapist these series bring back so many memories!! I worked in all areas of emergency such as trauma ( worked 2 1/2 years at renowned University of Maryland Shock Trauma center), emergency room, and transfers from helicopter traumas ( I didn’t fly in the chopper but received them on the helipad), critical care units.
Lennox Hill follows two neurosurgeons that start a practice at at small community hospital called “ Lennox Hill” and make it one of the premier sites for neurosurgery.
NYC Emergency continues to follow these surgeons as well as other emergencies and traumas in the NYC area.
There is also personal drama that follows all of these healthcare workers, and really shows how they take advantage of their own healthcare system they helped to form.
For any current and former healthcare workers, these are a couple of great documentaries that you will binge in one night!

Alright, late to the party and didn't read everything...
BUT, I can tell you I did read enough to get a bit of a feeling on things...
We did watch 1883 and 1923. For me, it was particularly interesting. My family came to the Oregon Territory in 1865. In fact, my great-grandmother wrote some of the stories from her grandparents when they were actually here in Washington in the 19th century.
Another one I find interesting and amusing is Clarkson's Farm. Many of the trials and tribulations he goes through are real issues.
My son and I are looking forward to the Oppenheimer movie next month.

Just back from seeing Guardians/Galaxy 3, loved it! DS had never seen the 2nd one, so watched that yesterday, then the first bit of Thor 4.
Stil watching Fauda, now in season 4. I think season 3 was the best. Very good, but this season is a bit cliche. I finally turned the English dubbing/subtitles back on, and it's easier, but still don't really like the folks they're using for the dubbing.
Finished the Big Door Prize, it was good enough Still very much enjoying Ted Lasso. Kind of wish there would be more, and cant' believe the series finale will be this week, but appreciate a show that has a definite ending/plan, doesn't just ramble on too long, or get cancelled without a good wrap up Watching Silo on apple tv. So far, so good. Hope it stays good
DS is working his way through Walking Dead, and he's in season 12. That's a show that went on WAAAAAAY too long, past its prime. and a lot of comic elements just did not work in the show. I am enjoying the later seasons more the second time, but that last season, and a half was just awful, awful. No desire to watch that again.
oh yeah, very, very much enjoyed Lucky Hank. DH found it because he likes Bob Odenkirk,I think it's AMC.

My son and I are looking forward to the Oppenheimer movie next month. This is the first I have heard of this and I had to go look it up. Looks like it is going to be a real, honest-to-goodness movie, in the theaters. I am going to have to drag my wife to it; I hope she's not too bored. Luckily (for me, at least) it isn't going to be one of these 14-hour movies divided into one-hour segments shown on tvs in our houses, or I probably wouldn't watch it.

Based on the title, it would appear to be about the Manhattan project folks.
Cheers.
