Even though I had my share of Barbie as a kid, the film did not interest me. As for Broadway, not too sure. Also, did not know of Wicked part one. I did see the Broadway show and did like it. Will most likely see the movie as well. Thank you for sharing.

DH saw Mission Impossible this past weekend. He said the theater was almost full, people even sitting in the front rows. We have 2 fairly close theaters, one where you reserve your seats, one where you don't. He went to the latter. The times for the one with reserved seats wasn't convenient this time, but he prefers it, but it's also several dollars more per showing. ANyway, he was a bit disappointed, and he really likes the MI movies (except MI II.) he does realize it was probably setting up the second part, but anway, movies were busy around here this weekend. I will wait to see it later, and will wait for Oppenheimer. I was a HUGE Barbie doll kid/fan growing up, but I don't care about seeing the movie.

my children bought me and dw yearly membership to AMC SUBS for christmas, we get to see three(3) movies a WEEK . We can see any format and reserve seats at no additional cost. Depending what state you are in the price changes but if you only go to two(2) movies a month ,it basically pays for itself.
