Mostly escapist fluff watching for me. Still binging the Marvel series. Finished the Defenders last night, and it was worth slogging through the others. I LOVE it when series cross over, or like a big group finally gets together, like Endgame. I think I"ll take a break tho now from that. Might watch Punisher, then break, but will see. We're watching THe Last of Us. THis week's episode dropped yesterday instead of Sunday, and it was WAY heavy, Not best way to start a Saturday. Bad Batch season 2 is good enough. This past week's episodes were better than the others. Looking forward to The Mandalorian in 2 1/2 weeks! Call the Midwife new season on PBS in just a few weeks. Looking so very forward to that! Also watched Wakanda Forever, I enjoyed it. better than average marvel movie/story Otherwise watching lots of youtube travel videos, dreaming of getting away.....

My son told me to watch The Last of Us. I had no idea it was a "zombie" show/don't usually watch them. Also a game. It's okay. I will watch keep watching for now since I saw 5 Episodes. Not sure if It will keep my interest until the end.

Now that we've finished the series, I'll add another shout out to "Derry Girls."
Very nice mixture of comedy, "coming of age" and reflection of the times.
Cheers.

Mayor of Kingstown. I finished the first episode last night. Looks pretty good, think I'll stick with it. It's another Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Tulsa King, and more) creation. He needs his own network.

We're going to try Paramount soon, I still haven't seen the new Top Gun movie, and will try to keep going w 1923. Might try the Tulsa show too. Finished the Punisher first season, and it was great. WAY better than I expected, not that I expected much. last episode was silly, but the rest VERY good. Watched Glass Onion finally, also pretty good, I wasn't that enthused about it, so better than expected. We detest Rian Johnson for what he did to SW, but did go on with this. I finished the National Treasures series on Disney. It was fun, cute, geared toward a younger audience for sure. waiting impatiently for Mandalorian.......

Waiting for the new Mandalorian, Call of the Midwives, Virgin River, and Matrix, the new Antman. I am sure I am missing some other new releases.

We've been watching The Finder on Disney+. It was a tv series a decade or so ago, just 13 episodes.

We watched the National Treasure series too and agree that it was aimed at a younger audience. I guess that would explain why we liked the movies better! Also waiting for Mandalorian...

What's everyone been watching lately??I got WAY too entrenched in those Marvel series, and while I wasn't even interested in a few of them, I felt some compulsion to complete. I still have third season of Jessica Jones to watch, although I might call it quits. Punisher was the best, but very R rated, violent, etc. Daredevil season 3 was very good. I'm looking forward to a Daredevil reboot, although I've read it's not going to follow/incorporate the previous series.
Call the Midwife just started up in the US. LOVED the first episode last week.
Top Chef is back, and set in London, with more international competitors. so far so good.
We don't have Apple tv any longer, so not yet watching Ted Lasso. Will get it soon though, and catch up. Been a long while since I"ve watched any good dramas, Oscar nominees, etc. so may try some of those. If anyone has recommendations, please pass along. I enjoyed the Woman King well enough, interesting, and inspired me to read more about those warriors.
