I'm grateful for the long weekend. Babysitting has me beat! The crib is driving me crazy. I need a foot stool to pull clothes out of her washer and now I am contemplating on purchase a step up for the crib. Thank goodness I had cribs where the sides come down.
Happy July 4th everybody!

Doughnuts tomorrow. Checking out a place in Beverly Hills, FL again. Better look and earlier. We are hibernating in AC like Brian. Bit toasty down here!! Might walk Walmart so we don’t melt

I say I will not do this. Seems exhausting!! Mine live too far away anyway. None on the way either. Their critters wear me out!

"Good day, eh? We got the Coleman goin', the back-bacon's frying up." - Bob McKenzie, "Great White North"
So we have a kitchen remodel and I don't have a kitchen. Turns out using the propane grill outside doesn't work well for boiling water or something. So I thought to myself, Remember when we'd go camping and use the Coleman? I climb a ladder and get it down off the highest shelf in the garage, along with the can of white gasoline that's been sitting there since, oh, I don't think I've used the stove since the latter half of the 1990s. Open it up, it's got cooking supplies in it from my old camping days! A spatula, a vintage-style folding toaster, a thing that looks like a long lighter but it only makes sparks when you squeeze it. And the super cute lil tiny funnel for the gas.
Anyways, put a little gasoline in there and pumped it up (checking that it held pressure), read the instructions on the inside of the lid, opened the valve, and lit it, foom! Only a little hair burned off my hand. hee hee. But I can't believe it fired up first try, 25 years or more it's been sitting there. And it worked well.
Kinda makes me want to bust out the lanterns but I have zero reason to use that.

When you can’t figure out who is doing fireworks as you think you know every surrounding town and it’s on the 4th but somewhere just did their finale. And it seems close…..Real world problems, lol

Don’t the new cribs have a ‘fold down’ from the front? I know they are no longer what we had for our kids, I’ve seen the new ones. What if someone was really short? I laughed at the washer comment. When we moved my new washer I have to really reach to get to the bottom, I’m 5’6” I thought of getting those reach clips they give to people in homes. I think they would come in handy, everything is out of my reach with high ceiling, high cabinets. I’m not that short it shouldn’t be an issue, but it is. Go rest.

Micheal Simon cooks everything on his grills go check him out I bet he can tell you how to boil water on one. I used to have but do not on this Bque one with a side burner, so you could boil water, maybe if this kitchen remodel will be ongoing you might want to get one.

The locals started with the fireworks last night. Poor dogs. It is sometimes a long summer for those guys between the fireworks and thunderstorms.

Being as how I am a kitchen and bath remodeler…… if you have any questions about what is being done , or if something doesn’t look quite right, feel free to ask me for answers. After 30+ years I still don’t have all the answers but I come close.
