Sorry.... I thought you had posted on a thread about the Wish that Bill had said the donuts had gotten better..... My most sincere apologies! It might have been the cheesecake lol I think I was just wondering what you thought of them. Not good! Bill did say that the one on the sundae in Marvel was decent though. He isn’t a huge sweets person except cheesecake and doughnuts. No apologies necessary. We booked again for November so we’ll check it out again!  I wasn’t impressed with them at all. DCL used to have Krispie Kreme doughnuts but stopped and now I think they are back again. Krispie Kremes aren’t that impressive either….. |

My grandmother made amazing homemade doughnuts. |

Krispie Kremes aren’t that impressive either….. I can agree with this for sure - maybe half-dozen years ago our town had this huge grand opening of our first Krispie Kreme and it was surrounded by all this hype and hoopla and people standing in lines for hours. We ended up getting a couple and we all felt like they were very marshmallow-y in texture and overly sugared. So whatever. |

What is a food challenge? Eating massive quantities of food in a certain amount of time. Bill has been searching them out since we moved to FL. I assumed you meant spicy food or something. "Eating mass quantities" just sounds like "going to the buffet" in my family What do you mean that he has been "searching them out" like you mean something other than buffets? Now I am thinking of those videos from Asia where people sit down and eat and eat and eat. And film it, for some reason. And people watch it, for some reason. |

If the day has passed, and the doughnut 🍩 box has been emptied, I quickly get more!!!! I’m all about another Mi meet! We have room for 2 or 3 couples right at our house….. it could be a mini meet! |

There are professional eaters. We are talking 8-10 pounds of food in a set time limit not just eating at a buffet. Randy Santel and Joey Chestnut are two well known eaters. There is a huge fandom following professional eaters. Bill has found many in FL. Iowa only had a couple. Many times they are on the menu. The Hangry Bison has one that he’s done 3 times. Theirs is pay to play, but many are free if completed in the time limit. Buffets lose money on Bill. He can eat an amazing amount of food. |

Here is a look at Donut King and Bill eating donuts. You can see the very large apple fritter in the start of the video too. This isn't a real challenge; Bill just wanted some donuts. This was after we moved DD last summer and it was a Grand Celebration too. After 11 years of school, we were so very, very done with everything with school, bills and moving her twice cross country!
