We have a winner!!!!!! Technically it’s doughnut but the judges have deemed the answer to be correct! There is National Donut Day – a holiday that's celebrated on the first Friday of every June (and pretty much sponsored by Dunkin'), and there's National Doughnut Day that's celebrated on November 5th every year.

DING! DING! DING! Our judges are sensing a disqualification....... National Doughnut Day is always the 1st Friday in June. There are memorial, traditional, national, and for me... sentimental implications. free picture uploadingEveryone can read about it here. www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/national-donut-day/

For the newcomers to the thread, I am a self proclaimed Chocolate Doughtnut NUT! Kim! AKA Eeyorelover..... The things served on the Wish that are referred to as donuts, barely qualify. Just sayin'* *I'm sure we can still be friends but Bill needs to raise the bar a bit.

Bill does not like the doughnuts on the Wish!! He thought they were awful!! Cheesecake isn’t great either…Marvel was decent and room service. Mine beats them though.

My favorite is the kind that is old fashioned, I don't know the name but it might be "old fashioned". It is the slightly more dense doughnut (vs the light and airy kind) that is all craggy and rough on the surface...perfect to hold all that glaze they pour on there. Second is a good apple fritter, third is either round or oblong jelly-filled with white frosting. Yumm
There's a gas station chain here that everyone seems to think has good doughnuts. I think they are garbage and I won't even eat them, to be honest. I have been telling my wife that this OTHER gas station chain has very very good doughnuts; finally she took me up on it and now she's a convert. Next on the list is a certain grocery store that I never frequent, but luckily was very close to a place I used to work and when it was safety meeting time once per month, somebody always went to that grocery store and brought in two or three dozen.
I know myself well enough that I never buy doughnuts.

It might have been the cheesecake lol I think I was just wondering what you thought of them. Not good! Bill did say that the one on the sundae in Marvel was decent though. He isn’t a huge sweets person except cheesecake and doughnuts. No apologies necessary. We booked again for November so we’ll check it out again!
