I am converted….for the first time I didn’t care about Punxsutawney Phil. He was wrong most of the time anyway so I’m not sure why I cared. TGIF!! I've never understood the hype, other than the old Bill Murray movie, over groundhogs day. If he sees his shadow, spring comes in 6 weeks. If he doesn't see his shadow, we get 6 more weeks of winter. That's how I read this nonsense. |

So the hits keep coming. I was so hoping 2023 would be a good year. You know I never realized how ignorant I was when having kids. I just assumed if I was healthy and DH was healthy we'd have healthy kids and we did (Thank goodness!). I never knew half the stuff my eldest tells me. Now the 3 month old GS's head closed early so his brain has no room to grow. Apparently they can open it. I have this picture in my mind of Tom and Jerry with a huge can opener. Poor kid. I thought his ears were looking kinda big and now I know why.  Our youngest was talking about having kids. DH said to tell her 'no'. Like when did she last listen to me - maybe 1998? Oh well, they say the Powers That Be have a plan. |
