It did go fast even though we started on the 9th and went through the 20th - we packed a lot in. First day back. Like a Monday ugh

Back from 4 nights at the Boardwalk 18th - 22nd. That's our home but for some reason we hadn't stayed there for quite some time. I had forgotten just how much we like that area.
Highlights:
Ate at Chefs de France for the first time in probably 10 years. We enjoyed it and had an exceptionally nice server, Sylvia. Jack jokingly asked her if her face hurts at night from all the smiling - she said yes - and especially that she is from Paris and no one smiles there. She was great.
Cast members at the BWV were very nice - bell services as well. Just a very pleasant arrival. First time booking a standard view 1 bedroom. I LOVED our room! If I could get that every time I would. #4123 - was on a corner so the layout of the living area and kitchen was different - very spacious. The bathroom seemed to be situated bettter too. The only drawback was the shower was square and just a bit small. Larger folks might have an issue there. But right across the hall were stairs that took us out so close to the parking lot near the tennis courts. So easy to get to the car, Also very convenient to the bus stop.
Bartender at the Wave (or whatever) was great.
Chilly weather on Sunday at AK made for a nice day to walk the tiger trail and nice for the Safari. Also not as crowded as I expected. In fact on our arrival day Saturday Epcot didn't seem too crowded either. Unfortunately HS on Monday was slammed. We didn't get there until 2PM since I had to work in the morning. But wow was it busy. All downhill from there crowd wise with Epcot much busier on Monday night than on Saturday and MK pretty busy as well on Tuesday. I am happy we aren't worried about doing everything and are happy enough to go to the parks for a bit and head out. Epcot was open late Monday so we did get to ride Remy with no wait. We finally stayed to see Harmonius - meh - thought it was a bit boring.
Also had a nice dinner at the Flying Fish - do really wish they still had the Chef's Table at the bar there.
Oh well - next trip isn't until December. Back at BWV

There's a flashback. We did it once, lots of fun. IIRC, it didn't last very long.

Sounds like a great trip, although on the short side. When in December?

We are there 12/4 to 12/8. Another 4 night trip, which is about what we do - 4 or 5 nights.

Today DH's brothers show up to re-tile the sun room floor. OMG, I might have to take a walk to get away. LOL We're trying to have our floors match because every time I watch HGTV I cringe when the people complain about all the different floors. After this all the wood floors and the tile floors will match on the first floor. Upstairs have different wood floors, one room (previous attic) is a combo of linoleum tile and plywood. Both our bathrooms have tile that matches the walls. Oh well.

Do what you want to do on your floors. Trends change. I am saying that as we get ready to refinish the wood and get new tile. Expensive! Would rather take the money and go for an extra Dis trip.

My wife watches "House Hunters" all the time and these people walk through houses and DON'T complain about the changes in flooring between rooms! Actually, okay it's not "changes in flooring" that bothers wife most, it's "changes in wood" which I agree, is crazy. But what really drives me up a wall is when the people shopping for a house keep calling the floor "hardwood" (and sometimes the realtor) when it is CLEARLY not hardwood.

If you leave it, it mostly comes back around again just like fashion.
