Well, it looks like I got booted out of the facebook DVC rental group with the heavy handed mods. You know which one I'm talking about.
"You probably had it coming" you're saying.
BS. First, I rarely post on there anymore because the mods have made it impossible. My infraction...someone posted they had points that expired February 29th, 2025. I posted back to them "uhhh, you mean February 28th, 2025, right?" Post was removed and sure looks like I was banned for pointing out a factual thing....
WTF?

Is it the one with Beverly Guftason ( I think that’s her name)? Yeah, I know that site. I’ve posted on there but it took a week for them to post my rental because I didnt EXACTLY word the rental description like they wanted. They just decline your post, no feedback.
Now, they want info if you have DVC-Y, some type of copy of your direct membership card. I think they are getting a little over the top. Um, no thank you.

I don't like many of the DVC sites. They're too full of themselves. I save bannings for breaking rules like "don't be a douche" or having someone argue when we say cool it. Even then most of the time we remove and move on.

I think I got banned from that group too as I can’t seem to find it in my groups anymore. My offense was responding to someone in the comments that had responded to an offer of points.

Just a FYI, the MouseOwner FB group is still there, where you can post rentals. Its not high volume, but it does get some traffic. Not a lot of chit chat and its not used to push agenda or any news. The only thing I do for the group is screen people who want to join, delete scammers, review and approve rental posts.

Yes, not much traffic on the MO FB group. Used to....but not so much anymore. I do post pictures from my trip - it's easy to do there. (since technically challenged and can't post here ....smh).

I somehow joined MO FB group but never followed. Fixed that. The DVC group I help with is Disney Vacation Club (DVC) - Members Only. 28k+ members. Pretty active. But longer wait to come in. We do rentals there if you need more places.
