You are welcome to join my FB boycott. I've never been on FB  mrs. brp and I are apparently already members of your boycott. Assuming that this includes Instagram and TikTok as well. Ours does.

I have the apps but do not post anything. I use Instagram as a data base for restaurants I'd like to try someday. TikTok I use as an "I need a five minute break from work" thing. |

Not on TikTok. Instagram yes - love recipes, listen to some comedians, etc. Don't post much. I don't think I have 40 people/friends on IG. FB - I don't use my phone for it. I need to be on my laptop, desktop or iPad so I am not constantly looking at it. I do post here and there. I have many family and friends out of state and country. FB is great for this. I do enjoy my hometown group, my Italian series/soap that I watch and some other groups. I also use WhatsApp to call Italy and FaceTime anyone who does not have the iPhone like me. Years ago it cost a ton of money to call Italy from your house phone. We then started to buy an international calling card for a few dollars. WhatsApp is great/free. I recently called my aunt and uncle to check on him after his surgery. I forgot to go through WhatsApp and the call was $57 for 19 minutes......I explained to TMobile and they were nice to remove the charge. Lucky me. Everything has positives and negatives. What works for some might not work for someone else |

You are welcome to join my FB boycott. I've never been on FB I only do it to post rentals... I'll answer questions there of people like I've done here. That group was so bad I would only lurk. Holy crap though...it has just gotten out of control. Stalin would blush. ETA: not only that, I'm young enough at 47 that fakebook is a normal thing for my cohort. And it isn't like I'm a technical dummy either...I have not one, but two linux servers in my basement with all sorts of stuff. I've got my own LLM running and a minecraft server and a complete media server for streaming my dvd collection. I was watching this Jordan Peterson (his bluntness makes me laugh) clip a year ago and he goes...'on average men are more interested in things and women more are interested in people.' That explains me...facebook predominantly is a lot of people stuff. It really doesn't interest me at all. Now, I do participate in some forums about things to better my understanding of those things. |

The only one of this family of apps I have is Twitter. And I only have that as it's often the best way to contact travel-related companies for fast and accurate response. And this includes TSA. But I never post, never look and "follow" no one.
