My favorite WDW burger is at Steakhouse 71, sold at Lunch in the Restaurant or at the Lounge bar for Lunch and Dinner. Stack Burger* $24 Signature Blend of Beef, Pork Belly, American Cheese, Lemon Aïoli, Red Onion, House-made Pickles, on a Brioche Bun. Served with choice of Petite Caesar Salad, Parmesan Fries, or Pasta Salad. Is this a newer topping selection for the burger? We were there in April 2023 for a band trip and I don't recall either of my guys raving over the burger, but I don't recall seeing that there before. We haven't been back since because the kitchen wasn't easily able to accommodate me. The menu has since changed and they should zero issues now but I didn't feel like going somewhere that was hard for me and having to make tons of special changes. Just not my style. I had one at Cosmic Ray's I was really happy with, believe it or not. Actually it might have been the spicy chicken they were doing a few years back with the kimchi-inspired slaw and the spicy garlic aioli, I was lovin it. I think I made my wife go there like three times that trip. Luckily she was grooving their Greek salad, which they offered with crispy chicken at that time. Now it is grilled and she won't get it. It's been a while since we've eaten there. I know they had something my spouse looooved. I think my kid would be all over that chicken sandwich too.

I did get a chance to double check my numbers. Oct 15-Nov 14 gave us 119,865 total points. 885 deeds. Average point per deed was 135.44. Smallest deeds were 25 points. Largest were 700 - two of those. There were a few people who did multiple deeds split but I didn't record them jointly.
Disney is not doing a good job of releasing total points per resort. There was a filing that said 4.6 million points in CA but that doesn't add up. 668,819 points were declared for this round and if that is roughly 20% of the points for this phase, we're looking at 3,334,095 new points for a total of 7,366,815. Until we are given factual numbers, I'm going to go with that as it sounds roughly correct.
18% of the declared points have been sold. 2.7% of declared points were sold on Oct 2 (largest recorded signed date but I am sure some of those Oct 2 dates are really Oct 1 buy but signed the next day). Using my guesstimate numbers 3.6% of the new points have been sold with 56.4% of all PVB points sold (including phase 1).
To compare, the cabins had a slightly better than average month in October with 5,410 points sold and 36 deeds. They have sold 57,317 points or about 2.1% of their 2,780,943 total points since February.
I'm just going to let that sink in when comparing. It took PVB one week to sell 59,994 points - and we're still getting records of Oct 1 coming in. One week... while I don't think PVB is super spectacular I am happy with the sales numbers compared to VGF2. They're pretty close. But when it takes 7 days vs 9 months to sell the same number of points, you know CFW has a problem.

Maybe they will bring back the teriyaki burger from the Oasis Pool Bar menu....One can only hope. That does sound tasty. Maybe they will bring back the teriyaki burger from the Oasis Pool Bar menu....One can only hope. They will have a burger, since it doubles as a pool bar kitchen. Fingers crossed is a "fancy" burger and not just another 1/3lb patty on a bun. Agreed completely. I looked up some pool bar/quick service burgers....Wow, they really get you at Geyser Point. Geyser PintBison Cheeseburger* $25.00 Served with Bacon, Sweet Crispy Onion Straws, Marionberry Sauce, and Garlic Aïoli Bar Riva Signature Burger* $17.49 Signature-blend Brisket and Chuck Burger, Swiss Cheese, Caramelized Onions and Mushrooms, Truffle Aïoli served with Parmesan-Herbed Fries Oasis Grill $12.99 Angus Chuck Cheddar Cheeseburger* with Cheddar, Lettuce, Onion, Tomato, and Pickle Paddock Grill $14.49 Bacon Double Cheeseburger Two Beef Patties with American Cheese, Smoked Bacon, Onion, Lettuce, and Tomato on a Brioche Bun served with a Pickle Spear To be fair it is a damn good burger. And bison, not cow... We just ate for the first time at Geyser Point and got the Bison burgers. They were delicious!!!!! But....2 burgers and 2 drinks was almost $100! Kid thinks these burgers are good. But actually likes the GFC better. I think the way it is served he thinks is superior. It's $26 there... As long as the food is decent I don't mind paying. I will say coming from a real kitchen that is supposed to be state of the art I expect somewhat better than standard pool bar QS stuff. Also a damn good burger at Grand Floridian Cafe. Used to be topped with lobster, that was even better. My favorite as well, of course.

On the 19th, can we reserve the new tower online or is it a 'call MS' function?

My kid is always up for new combos so he would try. I just don't recall seeing it. Maybe it was there and that's why no one said much? No idea.

Wish I had something to book! But I grabbed a Duo cash rate a few weeks back, and don't have anything else to wedge in. Pretty good availability still all around.
