Even one stay at GC in DLR. In an interesting turn of irony (not the right word) I have used GC points to stay at OKW! You are not wrong about MFs for OKW. We bought in 2014 and they were 5.83, just about the lowest ones. Times have changed. It was $3.68 when I bought in. Not so much the actual price, but the percentage rate of increase that's killing me. As I am mathing out my points "needs" for PVB I still have OKW there but I know if we sell, it is first to go. Now with everyone pointing out how they achieved the bigger balcony, I had to take another look. Ugh. Still love a bigger balcony, we hang out a lot, but not a fan of how it was achieved. We wouldn't be spending the points needed anyways, I am sure it will be insane. Like others mentioned, I think I would rather splurge on a bungelow. I had been floating the idea of an add-on, but think we will be just fine with what we have. It makes me happy to be able to use our cheap SSR points for some of these newer point hog resorts. I took the images into photoshop and made the toilets and beds the same size in the 2nd bedroom to get a rough idea. Side by side with proportions it made it look worse to me. Measuring rough area and penthouses only had maybe 15% more space. But with the appliances in different areas it might feel more like 25% still not enough for bungalow costs.

Helenabear....sorry.... I still don't have the hang of doing quotes. (even on the old site) Tried & failed so many times.
Totally understand your feelings about Poly. I'm old. Stayed there literally the first year it opened. Borrowed money from the credit union to afford it (how dumb was that!) and fell in love. Older daughter was 1 and ever since that trip, crazy love for it was born. Been back a zillion times, stayed all over in the bubble, but nothing has the emotions as Poly does. In fact, I literally just snagged 2 nights there for daughter's January trip (I'm the DVC owner...she's the condo on the Ocean owner) and she is beside herself.
Just even walking into the lobby (old or new) surrounds us with wonderful memories. Going to try to modify to new building but I highly doubt possible. She & DSIL would go bonkers. Younger daughter is more of a BWV fan but always seems to find a dress at Bou Tiki each trip.
Wonderful memories of a lifetime.

So no grand villas there ? Nope. I'm a little surprised at that tbh. Especially since we have bungalows. Though there are only 4 of those penthouse suites.

At the top of a post, on the right hand side (for me anyway) you should see some buttons. Starts with “Report Post”, then “Reply”, “Quote”. ….. You can just press the “Quote” button and it will bring up the post and a text box underneath it. “Reply” adds it to a chain of posts but doesn’t quote the post in question.

Well not thrilled with 91 more studios... but here are official numbers found on documents. I think I am glad for the 11 month booking window here. Now to decide if I need more points or not.

Now to decide if I need more points or not. Something tells me that, in your heart of hearts, you already know the answer to this
Cheers.

Thank you helenabear for posting those figures. I can't wait to try out a 1 or 2 bedroom at the Poly!!! Glad to see the 1 bedrooms have 2 baths. At least there are a few dedicated 2 bedrooms too, not all lockoffs.

At least there are a few dedicated 2 bedrooms too, not all lockoffs. I agree. I was glad to see the numbers like that. I'm surprised with the total points and the info on the number of bathrooms is incorrect but this came from a document hosted by Disney so I cannot argue too much. Plus they did spell Tuvalu incorrect on the permit plans so who knows if there are typos. I did expect more than 600k points to be added with the additional 222/268 rooms. Something to add, when I was doing my annual pass stuff since online for whatever dumb reason wasn't working. I asked the CM with Ms if they had any idea if first day of booking was call or online. She said like last time it was online and they have not received word that it's going to be calling only. So take that for whatever it is worth. It could be that they're trying to move away from call in only just to make wait times not ridiculous for people.

Didn't go back to see if this was posted but.... Per a sales CM Island Tower rooms can be booked on Oct 15 ONLY for current Poly members who purchase additional points on Oct 1 Nov 5 current Poly owners can book All other members can also book Nov. 5, which is a bit disappointing because current members have no advantage.

Interesting such as small number of 1 bedrooms compared to all of the different 2 bedrooms....
