First look renderings of some of the Poly Tower rooms were released today. I gotta say, I mostly like what I see.
The projected opening date is December 17th. I am surprised its not a week or two sooner.

I like the studio layout. The location of the kitchenette makes it bigger and more usable than most studios. I like the decor too.
Do I think it blends with the existing.....nope. But I do think the Poly Tower is very nice and I am looking forward to booking a room next year.

Regular studios only sleep 4, huh?

Regular studios only sleep 4, huh? Apparently.....I am good with that.
I think its a play to make people book the existing studios on property, which do sleep 5. Otherwise, everyone will be booking the Tower. Plus, how many families of 5 bought Poly to use the studios?

We are a family of 4, but with both a boy and a girl. We try not to have them sleep in the same bed. So I don't care about "5" but about three sleeping surfaces.
That said; Moorea is my favorite building on property and we love the existing studios so we would gladly book those.
The 1BR here though? O M G. Gorgeous. We won't be adding on, so we probably won't get to stay on them, but a guy can dream.....

The new studios are smaller and follows the older capacity rules.

I was on the TTC as it had stopped when I watched the video. The rooms are seriously gorgeous. The 1 bedrooms having a 2nd bath is perfect for us. The overall look is amazing. Stuck on the monorail now going to Epcot and love everything I am seeing now too. Just waiting on ROFR... plus my other PVB points. I expect these rooms to be point heavy. More than VGF as a whole.

Of course, the marketing images should be beautiful. These look great!
Seeing the layout of the regular studio may blow my intent to try the smaller tower(duo?) studio out of the water.
For family trips, that two bath layout for the one bedroom is an absolute winner. Smart design move!

Having them makes my AKV and BLT stays in 1-bedrooms so much better.
I might have to pick me up a Poly resale in the future......hmmmm.

Hope you have better luck than I have had with PVB resales. Still waiting on ROFR for the last attempt though. But yes, we would have really liked the 1 bedrooms at RR if they had 2 bathrooms. Having this might make us do 1 bedrooms more.

Love the new studio for 4 layout. But would also be very happy with the current sleep 5 studios. Does the new 4 person studio have two bathrooms? I knew Tom was gonna cave in to purchase! I still am deciding about resale or direct. Or nothing

Wow, the 1 bedroom is gorgeous and a 2nd bathroom is a huge plus. DD is 14 so not having to battle her for a bathroom is a win! I don't see us using the new studios; like others have mentioned, we appreciate having 3 sleeping surfaces so DD can be away from DS (11). The current studios at Poly are one of our favorites for this reason!

My first impression is Beige, beige, beige.
I get it’s meant to be sand coloured, but still…… You have to open the Murphy beds to get any colour.
I don’t like galley kitchens, but it seems that’s what we get now.
Interesting that the studios have a dishwasher, but the positioning of the kitchenette right next to the bed that presumably most kids will be sleeping in is odd. If Mum or Dad wakes and makes coffee, the kids are going to be disturbed.
Nice that there’s seating in the studios, but not enough for 4 people.
At least they’ve frosted the glass in the shower, but I’d rather it was separate. Maybe that was just the studio though?
Overall, meh. Not a fan. If we want to stay here, I think we’d just go for two longhouse studios instead.

I love two bathrooms in the long houses. It is a lot of beige but love that there is a table and chairs. The current studios still have tables and chairs correct?
I really want to know the points chart. I don’t want to buy resale on the premise that these studio points will stay the same. I see lots more resales. None moving though like they were.
