Can someone refresh my memory as to the cost of DCL transportation from WDW to port. I have a number in my head, but am not confident it is correct. We are weighing the cost of driving and parking--$140 for the week versus taking Disney transportation to and from.
Thanks,

Thanks,
39.00 per person one way.

Thanks, I think that $39 one-way just made my decision for me. Driving to the port it is.

But, I am also wondering, has anyone on here ever driven to WDW but then left your car at the resort and taken DCL transportation to and from Port Canaveral?

I thought was the case. We are staying at the Riviera for a few nights before the cruise and had thought about asking if we could leave the car there. However, it is a moot point now that we know the difference in the cost.

What is the Port parking charge? Yeah, figure in port parking and tolls if driving. I keep a container of quarters for tolls--I think last time I drove there were 3 toll stops--might have changed by now. I don't mind paying them as I am a firm believer that those that use the roads should pay for the roads and their upkeep.

Yes, we also keep change in the car - basically for all the fundraiser groups at the stop lights in the spring (why always in the spring?). So did you find the Port Parking charges? Around us (NY & NJ) they're $35/day.

At Port Canaveral, it's $17 per day plus tax and they charge for both your arrival and departure days. For a 3 night cruise, you pay for 4 days of parking. For a 4 night cruise, you pay for 4 days of parking, etc. You pay as you enter the parking area (after dropping off any luggage you want delivered to your stateroom). If you happen to be doing a back-to-back cruise, your parking rate will be based on the first segment of the B2B.

What does it mean 'the parking rate will be based on the first segment of B2B'?

Thanks! Wow, that's pretty reasonable compared to up NY/NJ. What does it mean 'the parking rate will be based on the first segment of B2B'? At PC, the parking rate is set based on the cruise that is leaving that day. If that cruise is a 3-night cruise, you pay for 4 days of parking upon arrival. Unless you need to leave the port for some reason, you don't have to re-park between cruises (you just leave your vehicle in the garage). If doing a B2B (3-night followed by a 4-night for example), you will pay for 4 days of parking (based on the 3-night cruise). If the B2B is a 4-night followed by a 3-night, you would pay for 5 days of parking (based on the 4-night cruise).
