Very disappointed. I was just finishing up a trip report to the Villas at Disneyland when without taking any steps to do so, I was redirected to a ProBoards page. Seems the trip report is gone…oh well.

I tend to write my trip reports in a Word doc, then copy and paste. Sorry you lost it, I love reading the reports.

This doesn't always help, but you can change the "enable drafts" setting to "yes" in your settings page. It will sometimes autosave your work and recover it for you in such a circumstance, but yes, like jawfish , I will often write my longer posts elsewhere and then copy paste into the text field to post to avoid loss of my work.
If you don't have the foresight for something like that, I will periodically hit ctrl+a and then ctrl+c to quickly capture everything to the clipboard. That way, if I lose my work while editing, I can at least pick back up where I left off by pasting.

Profile->Edit Profile->Settings.
I just set mine....just in case.
