Seems as good of a use as any for the former Stitch’s Great Escape… I was kind of thinking that but also wondering if they would give us a view of something. That is actually a really large location though they could maybe divide some out of it? I really do miss Alien encounter though...
How in heaven's name has WDW not used the Alien Encounter space? Talk about prime ride real estate... seriously crazy.

All the more reason to be used in the meantime, ha. “While we dream about the future reimagining of this corner of Tomorrowland, we listened to what our Members want most…a place to take a seat and relax in the heart of the Magic Kingdom.”

Quite agree. The theatre is still there, seats and all apparently. Although they do use it …… as storage for the QS place and stores. 🤪

Stitch did take over for a while if you had forgotten, which I think was actually worse than leaving an empty LOL I was always surprised that they didn't come up with another version of the ride since it's been through a number of different versions over time. I've seen three of the four different versions myself. The last being the worst

So much space in Tomorrowland is sitting unused. They did add a DVC lounge there in a small unused sliver of space. They should add a Flynn’s arcade just to fill some empty space.

I would laugh and laugh if a DVC lounge + full DVC preview center opens in the old Alien Encounter space.
I know, nothing has been said about a preview center. But if space allows, what better way to lure in, I mean educate, future DVC owners than by inviting them to tour without leaving the park at all? Toss in a fast pass or two to comp for the time and it may even but a good use of time on a park day.

I was watching WDWNT, and Tom suggested no Disney resort has 2 DVC lounges and this could lead to the EPCOT lounge closing. Making way for an update to the Imagination pavilion and a new Figment ride.
I question the 2 lounge in a resort, as I think only US parks have them, which are the only resorts with DVC.
However, I would sacrifice the EPCOT lounge for a new new imagination redo.

I do not know of any proposed locations. The DVC lounge will be in a Park. Logic says it should be Magic Kingdom, the most attended theme park in the world. This will not be a new build, but a reuse of an existing space. The castle room? Well, one can hope
Cheers.

They're waiting for Tomorrow to get here so they know what to build...

Fraidy cat that I am was able to do that attraction without freaking out.
As far as the new DVC Lounge is concerned, I wonder if they will be required to adhere to disability requirements. I am not disabled, but do use a scooter at Disney because of back issues. At EPCOT, I am able to use the elevator to get up to the lounge and plug in and grab a snack. So, if they put the lounge upstairs, would it need to be somewhere that had elevator access.

I don't know about how reliable they are, but I have always felt that the people there are just full of themselves and have never enjoyed watching their show and never let their clickbait draw me in.

Have been wondering this for years. Also have the same thought about Tomorrowland Terrace and how under utilized it is for its location.

Agreed! Clickbait has been horrible lately. YouTube comments called him out on his "SPACE MOUNTAIN IS CLOSING PERMANENTLY" title of a recent video, and he replied with a belittling, "everyone knows I was talking about Tokyo."

Yes clickbait is absolutely perfect way to describe WDWNT! They want the clicks, they don't care how accurate what they say is. How in heaven's name has WDW not used the Alien Encounter space? Talk about prime ride real estate... seriously crazy.
Have been wondering this for years. Also have the same thought about Tomorrowland Terrace and how under utilized it is for its location. I remember a time, so long ago, when you actually could go up there and buy food at regular times of the day. MK has some of the worst food options there and I don't understand why they don't use it most of the time. I have pictures of me as a five or six year old with my family eating there. I only recognize it because of the view behind us.
