I just read that yesterday. Insane. Glad there was a good update because when I read it there had been no action taken on Disney's part (or poorly reported). Personally I'd be too embarrassed to ever share this with anyone myself  |

Glad Disney stepped up and made them whole. TBH I almost made the same mistake the other day when placing a Sam’s Club Order. I saw the special for the gift card and was going to grab a couple then realized they were D+ not Disney.
what I am wondering is usually there is a limit to how many cards you can buy. I can’t imagine buying $10k worth!

They must have spent a lot of time accumulating these Disney+ gift cards. I, too, saw some nicely discounted Disney+ gift cards during the holiday shopping season. Maybe because I'm used to buying gift cards, the first thing I did was check to see if they would be good for the other aspects of Disney. They weren't so I moved on, but thought to myself "I bet many people will buy these thinking they can use them at WDW/Disneyland."

Glad Disney stepped up and made them whole. I'd say that Disney went quite a bit beyond making them whole. They made a mistake and received just what they were purchased and were already whole. Disney went further by doing a very nice favor to correct their mistake. Good on Disney.
