I still have some first gen MBs...the slim ones. I wonder if those still work. Just looking at mine now, I'd consider the first gen to be thicker than the Gen 2. The Gen2 is more streamlined than the Gen 1, IMO. The old ones are clunkier, and no way to remove the dongle.
