I am not techy at all. Family member helped me set up SurfShark and also Bitdefender. Sometimes I have to pause SurfShark on certain legit websites to get through. I use Chrome and Firefox. When I type magicowners dot com in the browser, Bitdefender blocks it every time with the message 'suspicious page blocked for your protection'. But... if I Google magicowner and click on the Google link, it always work. Please give me some advice on how to make MO work using browser. Thanks. This is a Bitdefender issue that they have suggestions for www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1519/

This is on three different computers, including my travel computer where I have Bitdefender virus software and use the Bitdefender VPN. For the VPN, I do have to choose specific "locations" to get it to work (Newark seems happy ), but regular Bitdefender has no issues at all.
Cheers.

Not saying all using have this issue, just that it's not a host issue we can help with. Just suggesting to the OP to try these steps. Nothing back end fixes can do.

My reason for using a VPN is that I will be on a 15 day cruise and may need to do some banking. Since banking websites are a secure one, maybe not? Nord VPN gets great reviews, but SurfShark supposed to be a little more user friendly. So when you're at home, you just do it regular, right? A lot of home routers have a VPN function where you can VPN back home... Depending on your router, it may cost nothing.

Or if you really want to get into the weeds, there is a VPN discussion going on at [H]
