That's the one! So something was bothering me about this, so I took a listen to the song... It's actually more of a "choooooo, bop bop bop" but it's hard to tell if they are "bop bop bop" or just "ba ba ba" Then if you listen to the one Counting Crows did with Vanessa Carlton doing the background part, it's "ooooooo bop bop bop" and the "bops" are clearer in that one. But the Joni Mitchell version definitely a "choo" sound.

Hey. I'm a Locomotive Engineer by trade. 5 years experience railroading. Disney had very little influence in the decision. Obtaining land to build track is very difficult to do without using eminent domain and overcoming the NIMBY sentiment, even though transit actually increases the value of the land it serves. On the alternate track plan, Brightline will serve more centers of commerce and likely have a greater economic benefit to all. Getting directly to Disney Springs was a bit out of the way for them.
If you'd like to ride the rails to Disney, I think there's a good chance you'll see a free shuttle service from Springs or TTC directly to the station nearest to property. I have no inside information for saying this. I'm just suggesting it makes sense for Disney to do. Time will tell.

One might wonder whether the sturm und drang over Reedy Creek governance, bonding authority, etc. affected this -- and if so, how.

Cheers.

Brightline is still planning on having a station near Disney Springs, but it will no longer be on Disney property. Pretty sure that this decision had been made quite a while before the kerfuffle. Thanks! I did not know date of shift to "...it will not longer be on Disney property."
