I am totally out of my element here and could use some advice. My DGD is 4 and loves the princesses and loves to dress up as them. I am hoping to make a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation for her while we are at WDW. I have learned only the MK BBB salon has reopened and that it is extremely difficult to get in. I saw the reservation line opens at 6:00 AM ET and a res can be booked 60 days out. To test it out, I used our November weekend reservation to try to book (our family trip is in Dec). I got up at 3:45 AM MT logged in, and was ready to go prior to the 6:00 AM ET opening. I tried the online booking at exactly 6:00 and the date was not yet showing as an option to book. When I finally got in it showed no availability at all.
Anyone done this and have advice on getting a BBB reservation? I haven't ever booked one of these and am not sure if I am going about it the right way. Is it better to phone in? Is the line open that early? Any advice and direction at all would be most appreciated! Thank you!

You should be able to book for length of stay. That might help. However if you can’t book it, this might be an alternative. The Ear for Each Other Facebook page is lots of former CMs who offer all kinds of experiences. The article actually includes a hair cut and make over for two little girls, but there are others who will just do the makeover. touringplans.com/blog/an-alternative-to-bibbidi-bobbidi-boutique/Incidentally I have two friends who booked a light sabre training experience through the site. Both had young kids and everyone loved it. Well worth a look to see what else is available through the group. |

I think my DIL is intent on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for DGD so I will just have to hope we can get something. If not, then maybe she will reconsider. I looked up some of the folks from Ear for Each Other and looked at the reviews - they do a wonderful job. She just thinks having it as part of our MK day at the park will make it more magical. Based on your last recommendation I did request and was accepted to the Ear for Each Other facebook page. I contacted the light saber person and we are looking at when to incorporate it. Appreciate the feedback from your friends! I have also found a babysitter through that group, lots of good opportunities here to make the vacation special! |

So....Booking it really, really tough. Best advice I can give if you do not get in exactly at he 60+ day booking window, keep trying every day. This is what Robin does for her clients and has success by grabbing cancellations.

I have the same problem trying to book BBB for my granddaughters and great niece. 60 days almost impossible!!!
I also try repeatedly!!! Day after day, when I think how much the girls love it I check. Only takes a few seconds—3 or 4 “clicks”.
I have found in the past that you can often be successful a week or so before the day you want. Can’t be too picky about time or maybe the exact day but something often will come up. I’m in search mode right now!!
Great Niece asks my brother every day—
“Has Aunt Donna got me a Bibbity Bobbity Boo yet?”
None of the other adults in the family seem to have the time or patience it takes. The smiles from these little ones make it worth the effort.
Keep the back up plan you have.

Our 60 days starts on Oct 2 and I guess I will be a BBB warrior from that point on. I have the same problem trying to book BBB for my granddaughters and great niece. 60 days almost impossible!!! I also try repeatedly!!! Day after day, when I think how much the girls love it I check. Only takes a few seconds—3 or 4 “clicks”. I have found in the past that you can often be successful a week or so before the day you want. Can’t be too picky about time or maybe the exact day but something often will come up. I’m in search mode right now!! My granddaughter doesn't know we are trying to do this, and while the Ear for Each Other options look like a great backup, I can just see her getting into the excitement of the process at the BBB, particularly the fairy godmother talking to her from the mirror. Silly, I know! Since I became a grandma I am so not the same - I look at this stuff so much differently!  Best of luck to you as well! |

I saw today that a lot of reservations opened up for mid November, which means the advice to keep checking back is probably the most important if it isn’t available when you can first book.

Tried the next day and 3 days out was able to get exactly what we had wanted—8:30am. Now my brother’s granddaughter can spend a whole day as a princess!! I tried very often throughout the day, but being “successful” seemed to occur both times a little after 12:00 am ET. I only was looking for the 2 days they will be there for her birthday. I did search for the week that included the days I wanted and often saw openings on days I was not interested in booking. If you have more flexibility, you hopefully will find it a little easier. I also started searching about a week prior to the days I wanted. This seems to be when folks cancel. I’ve looked a little for the first week in November and have had no luck. |
