I’ll be at DLP on October 16th and they are teasing some special events that day but again, no details yet. We didn’t plan it but I’m excited our trip coincides, especially since French schools are on holiday the following week, as are most English schools so it shouldn’t be too mobbed.
At the very least I think there will be something extra added to the drone show or the fireworks, or both. And likely the parade or a special cavalcade.
It would be nice to think WDW and DL will get something similar but not holding my breath for parades.

we are SO excited about this, especially DH. I do also love the newer Soarin, but not as much as the California one, so I can't wait to see it again in Oct!

I’m going with nothing major. Which based on the last two years I’m rather confident in my answer. Hell if they switched back Soarin’ for WDW’s 50th or Epcot’s 40th that would have been a highlight, so we’re already better off.

I still think they are missing something cool by not making the California movie run permanently in California. Just do a quick film restore and bam.

I'm looking forward to Epcot's 50th in 2032. Everything leading to that is just precursor. That is when things really started.

It will also mark 50 years since my first trip to Disney! (Though Epcot wasn't open my first trip we rode the monorail to see a preview - it opened a few months later) |

It's 109 months until then. Is that too early for booking?
