So glad to hear that you can order from the dinner menu at the bar at Narcoossee's! We love to sit at the bar. The worst part of the change from the Wave to Steakhouse at the Contemporary is no longer being able to do that. We also love Narcoossee's. Will now definitely put this on the list for our December visit. Hold on, pretty sure they’ve always offered me full dinner menu recently at Steakhouse 71 Lounge. I always opt for my burger, but definitely worth checking. In March the dinner menu was a no go at the bar. Just a reduced menu - which thankfully still had the bacon and eggs and the burger, I enjoy sitting there and talking with the bartenders . We have always had such nice service there. I did ask him to put it in the suggestion box to get the dinner menu available again at the bar.....maybe he did! |

Seriously, they have good Bque? I don’t drink bourbon but husband may enjoy. Through the years you read so many, good, great, horrible. It’s hard to know. Not that you are a professional but someone who is a smoke master/pit master or gets up mid morning and has a smoker. Would be picky about their brisket or Bque. |

Not that you are a professional but someone who is a smoke master/pit master or gets up mid morning and has a smoker. Would be picky about their brisket or Bque. Is it the best I've ever had? No. But it's not far from that in quality. Definitely worth a try. The brisket and pulled pork are worth the visit.
I generally drink bourbon at home, because I'm too cheap to pay for it out, so I can't speak to the bourbon bar, but the selection is large and it certainly seems popular.

Literally, haha.. but we had a great meal there.not sure through the years why we forgot it. Recently we tried but much to my husbands dismay. I’m the under planner. It’s vacation, let me just go with the flow, we won’t starve. unless you have a delayed flight and get into the BWV and check in with nothing but that window that sells something they call pizza. Ewe. he’s not a over planner but sometimes bugs me about ADR’s I don’t know what I will be in the mood for or at what time. So it’s a balance. I still have in my recipe file (hard copy) the drink cocktail that was very good, they gave me when I inquired about the drink we had while waiting for our table. |

Will now definitely put this on the list for our December visit. We stayed at BLT in December last year and ate dinner at Steakhouse 71 two nights. Went in for a late drink and stayed at the bar for dinner. The best part of eating at the bar is DH has no problem with me enjoying an appetizer for dinner instead of the main event. |

Whether we sit at the bar or the restaurant, I have no problem with just an appetizer. And I can't imagine ever having a problem with what mrs. brp orders at any point. We each do our own thing (although I have a tendency to order too much and she'll periodically check me on that...and she's always right...)

DH likes a nice whiskey after dinner too. And while we often buy a small bottle of something for the room, I do at times encourage him to have a whiskey when we are out for dinner. Especially if he can get Blanton's, which is his favorite, and extremely difficult to find in Colorado. But Lagavulin - I often wonder how anyone can drink it (and DH likes it too  ). I can smell it and recognize it from across a room, haha. Makes me glad he is a more of a bourbon guy! |

IIRC, it's often listed on the bar menus but availability is hit or miss. |
