You have to wait until an admin approves you before the username you chose becomes valid for posting. It happened to me, which is why I know  Cheers. |

disneycrazy should be the username you need and is approved as of 2 hours ago. Hopefully that works. Disneycrazy1 is not a user now.

How do I put a picture by my name ? If you go to your profile, which you can either do at the top or by clicking on your username, there’s a little purple button at the top right that says “edit profile”. Click that and the first page is the avatar page. I still need to work out how to upload one lol! |

Thanks. I actually meant how to create one that isn’t one of my photos. I need a nice shot of something Disney or DVC or whatever. I never did get around to doing it on MO. But it’s time I got to grips with stuff. 😁 |

I noticed the addition of a picture for your avatar needs an extra little step that I missed the first time. Once you upload it, you then have to select the radio button to actually "use" it, then hit save. Hope that helps.

One think I’ve noticed here that is very different from MouseOwners, I can immediately tell when my screens pop up if I’m logged on or not. If I’m logged in, I see the personalized theme that I chose, while if I’m not, I get the blue screens. I mean, still a pretty blue, but it’s a big difference from “my” screen. When I see blue, it triggers me to log in. That’s helpful, because it remind me to log in, even if I only want to lurk!

When I have time I'll add more that I created years ago. I'm now going to wait to see who sees what color. I admit I chose my favorite color - indigo. The default blue was super close to another blue used and the whole blueish family are the most well liked colors on the internet. So I chose one between blues and purples. It's blue to some and purple to others. Depends on screens and such. On mine it's barely purple. But I love blue and purple equally so I cheat and say my favorite color is indigo. For those who want real purple and real blue, we got those too. PB default is blue. Purple is well... purple. |
