I have a Frontier voucher, with an expiration date of 3/7/23. I used the voucher on 1/17/23 to book an 8/5 MCO to PHL flight.
On 4/6/23, I received an email from Frontier advising of a schedule change. The flight I'd booked was canceled; options were rebooking on another (much earlier) flight or refund of my purchase. I opted for the refund and found another flight (on SWA).
Does anyone here know if the voucher expiration gets extended because of the 8/5 flight cancellation?

More than likely not. Sign into your account to see if they reissued it but you will probably have to call CS. Know that CS with an area code in Utah you are calling a call center overseas. You may get someone helpful or you may not and just become frustrated. Speaking from previous experience. If you do not get satisfaction then you will need to contact CS (the real one) based in their CO headquarters. good luck.

I'm currently doing chat with their CS via Twitter. It's really slow. I did find this online, which gives me some hope.: www.flyertalk.com/forum/frontier-airlines-frontier-miles-program/2073904-extending-frontier-voucher.html

I am unaware if they did, haven’t had to contact them recently. Not surprised to hear it’s slow, their computer system just to book a flight can be iffy at times.

The only contact methods are chat, email or social media. The CS phone # is gone from their website. I was able to get help via Twitter DM; they extended the voucher 90 days. I learned that the voucher is good for airfare only; it can't be used for luggage or seat selection. Also, the voucher is one time use only, so if you use it for less than the value of the voucher, you lose the balance.

Day two of dealing with Frontier "customer service" via Twitter DM to get a voucher and credit applied to a purchase. This will be my last time using Frontier unless there are no other flight options. We'll use AA and SWA.

AS, AA and, for short flights, WN.
Cheers.

On a recent trip, I heard a woman say that their son’s flight on Frontier was overbooked by 38 people. Their son didn’t come. No options that were affordable at that point.

Finally. Three hours and they finally booked my reservation.
We have 23K miles in our Frontier account which I think I'll let lapse so I don't have to deal with them again.
I like AA and, but for the lack of nonstop PHL-MCO flights, I like SWA. I can use Chase reward points to transfer to AA (via BA Avios) and SWA.

Glad you finally got it worked out. Dealing with Frontier CS definitely can raise one’s blood pressure. I use to use them often when DS was in school in FL. As long as there were no issues it wasn’t a problem. New and newer planes and with a good tail wind a 2 hour flight. When there was a problem that’s when it was just crazy trying to deal with CS. SWA from PHL to MCO barely has any direct flights and I’m not a fan. The prices are not that great so for my money I rather fly AA.

We've flown AA a few times over the last year. The terminal is nicer than SWA at PHL, and the flights have been good.

Yeah, SWA really cut back on nonstop flights. Actually, all their flights are nonstops. You're just going to the wrong place
Cheers.

Yes, they do have a better terminal with AA. Though since they have 2 from when they took over I forget now but they were big back in the day as they say and their hub might have been Philly. It’s always good to make sure is it A or C. I’ve been on the wrong end of that.🙃. we still fly out of PHL, even though we have moved. I always lived near an airport so strange not having one near. But my adult children still live in the area where we did so we just go up the night before and head out the next day. Will say I’m spoiled from those years of being close that if delays were never ending. I would just be rebook me in the am, I’m going home. AA is one of two commercial airlines that flys into DAB (Daytona) at one point though seasonal they had started non stop from PHL. Son went to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Which basically sat on DAB so that was nice to fly into DAB, which is a beautiful small airport and be there without a hour plus drive to Daytona from Orlando.
the other thing with Frontiers vouchers… 6 months vs most airlines are 1 year. Had to fight that on too several times.
