@helenbear - just thought of another question - sorry Will we be able to post pictures? If we do, will it be similar to MO - (I could never post there anyway).

@helenbear - just thought of another question - sorry Will we be able to post pictures? If we do, will it be similar to MO - (I could never post there anyway). Im still new to proboards, but from what I can tell, you now have two options for pictures: 1) just like MO, upload your pictures to a 3rd party site and then use the image button on the toolbar to create a link to each of them. 2) click "add attachment" and upload your picture here directly. I think there are size limitations, however.

Sounds like there will be no multi-picture posts without using a 3rd party image hosting site.

Lately though - always says my picture is too large (from iPhone). Will have to test this out also (and multi quotes ) Okay - just tried - my picture says 2 MB - max is 1MB (I don't know what any of it means as far as size - definitely know 2 is bigger than one - I know that much (rofl)

With the small limit 3rd party hosting is probably easier to do. Trust me we can walk you through it. You don't even need to create accounts.

I could use a step by step walk through of how to do this. I have only ever used the attachment method before. Maybe a thread in the Technical Help forum?

I've had great success with imgur. Go to imgur.com, create an account, and upload any pictures you'd like to share. After they're uploaded, copy the link to them. Use the insert picture button here when making a post, and use that link. That's the short version, if you have troubles I can make a longer one!

Just click the button and it auto copies and then paste
