I have started followinig this lady and she has some good tips on traveling, etc. The one I have linked below is particularly good information on packing travel snacks for your flight. She goes to World Market. I have one about 5 miles from my house and have never gone in their until today. She was right, they have some super small sizes of snacks , treats that will travel easy. I am not sure that the prices were any better than airport snacks, but at least you can get a wider variety of things to take with you rather than one big bag of chips.
I plan to pack a plastic take out container filled with some of the things from World Market on my flight in a couple of weeks.
I just wanted to share as I think her tips are very interesting. Here is a link to the snack video--enjoy.

I know a lot of people who pack their own individualised snack boxes for car journeys.
I prefer to just take some pre-packaged snacks. Especially on international flights, when you might need to be able to identify what you have. I have a friend who had a box filled with things like pretzels and “trail mix” and got stopped at customs in Vancouver. She had to toss it all.
