If you want a smiley let me ask, but it is a time consuming process. Linking back to old site is an unwise idea. Or use www.free-smileys.com/

We were down for marathon weekend, and my friends and I looked like foil wrapped potatoes by morning 3 & 4 of the races. I’m pretty sure I burned at least 500 calories waiting at the start and shivering in the 48 degree weather. By Sunday, I was way over it…

It looks like maybe Mouseowners might have been taken down. I’ve been trying to log on since I got up at around 8am GMT, 3am ET. I did get in very briefly but it went down and since then the server hasn’t been responding. Usually when that happens I wait maybe an hour and the site comes back up. It could be something or nothing.
I hope the site might be archived not deleted but we’ll have to see.

I don’t know whether it’s related but the blogger Bioreconstuct ended up in hospital after the marathon. A friend of mine was also very ill, and one runner died on the Monday following. Whether the cold had any part to play is hard to say.

It could be something or nothing. I hope the site might be archived not deleted but we’ll have to see. It's still down. I checked into things and main host is up. Domain name registry is valid for a few more months. Now being recorded as mostly down for almost 20 hours now. It blipped off and on earlier but this one seems rather catastrophic. I'm not seeing major outages being recorded. We traced the route and made it to the host but then it timed out. I do not have any access to any info outside of our usual public displayed stuff anyone can search. So what I am looking at is googled info that many in IT know to do to check issues. Heck used it earlier this week when our school site went down. Helped us find who the host was - stupid school PTO stuff means no one has access to everything. I can say for here the domain name is good for 10 years and I am able to only go out 5 more years at a time on paid stuff on my end. So 6 years for my side. We intentionally made it so not one of us owns things. We want us all to have a space as long as people want to use it.

If you want a smiley let me ask, but it is a time consuming process. Linking back to old site is an unwise idea. Or use www.free-smileys.com/I'm not sure why it was unwise, other than the old site is currently out of order but.... I didn't do it on purpose. I have no idea how that post came to be....I posted here, using my phone then I was trying to copy the smiley to my phone, to paste it here, then I got busy making breakfast, then life got busy and then my coffee got cold, then I drank cold coffee, which I like, then I made another cup of hot coffee, then breakfast was ready, then..... long story short, previous post to the contrary, A coffee drinking smiley would be great!

For two reasons. Like now the site is down and unusable. Second that is Kim's property, not mine. Linking back takes resources and is kind of like theft. I work in the web world for a living and this is more than a faux pas, but taking from another and using their resources - aka costing money. I get you didn't mean to do it as well, just explaining why one should never lift pics and pull from other sites without permission.

We have lived in this house for 30 years and the attic has a ton of boxes. I suspect many of them have stuff from when the kids were little. We've haven't regularly stored anything up there in the last I don't know how many years. All except Christmas decorations - they are up there and used every year. I keep saying - we should pull all those boxes down and pitch them. Don't even open or look in them. If I don't know it's there, I don't want or need it. Of course, I'm great at procrastinating on this....I need to take my own advice.
