This may have been asked and answered in the thread about annual passes, but can’t find an answer.
If I have purchased tickets from Undercover tourist for our July trip, can these be upgraded to annual passes on April 13th?Will annual pass begin on the first day of July trip? Will Member Services be able to handle upgrade?

I have upgraded UT tickets in the past, but had to do it in person at guest services at the park. The process was very simple once I got there.

Yes, this can be done. The question is: do they still do gate price bridging? This is where Disney applies to full value of the ticket (Disney price) against the upgrade rather than the (usually) reduced price paid to UT. We have not done this in a while as we've had to renew offsite.
Any recent experiences?
Cheers.

I'm in a similar situation, but I'm not taking any chances on the availability of APs for DVC lasting long enough for me to get through on the phone to try to upgrade. We're going to return our UT tickets and pay the 5% restocking fee - a small price to pay to ensure we have an annual pass for the next 12 months (and beyond).
