When you purchase are you getting a voucher to activate when you are ready or are you getting an AP with an expiration date that starts now?

I have them showing up in MDE with an expiration a year from now; but my understanding is that once they are actually activated at guest services, then the expiration will change to be a year from that date.

I would have a hard time at MS when we tried to redeem them and had no proof they were in the same household. So 1 for me only. She will have to wait until next week IF she wants APs. You would not be able to activate them if they do not meet the eligibility requirements. You can buy as many as you want. It suggested I buy 8 LOL. I think cuz our next trip on record has 8 ticketed guests.

Yes, that's what they did in the past at least. I wonder if activation for new is the same as before. I also wonder if we can renew online now.

Anyone know, can I buy a Sorceror's Pass for my son and his wife? He does not live in my household, but his name is now on my contracts.

Anyone know, can I buy a Sorceror's Pass for my son and his wife? He does not live in my household, but his name is now on my contracts. If his name is on the contracts, he is a member and can get the pass. If he is linked to your MDE account, you should be able to get them - I just did it for my husband. It does ask you who they are for before you can finalize the purchase. Now we just need to get DVC membership to show up for DH - although for this purpose, since we live in the same house, it doesn't matter. But looking to move all DVC to trusts, so doesn't seem worth hassling with updating his account until we actually get that done! Too many things going on at once!

(I am waiting for 4/20, so no news today.) I think Mickey should tell his staff to issue "Honorary Disney IT Beta Tester" mementoes to those who persevered starting early today.

When you purchase are you getting a voucher to activate when you are ready or are you getting an AP with an expiration date that starts now? They are vouchers which will need to be activated upon arrival at WDW. Once activated, the expiration date will be set once you actually use them to enter a park.

Finally got connected to a friendly CM to upgrade our 10-day Parkhopper tickets to Sorcerer Passes. Total call time (including hold time): 3 hours 49 minutes.
I'm thrilled to once again have an AP after letting ours lapse in 2018. We did Disneyland in 2019, then we were going to get APs in 2020, but you all know what happened then.
Have two trips booked, more to come!

do AP's include photopass again? I was offered the option to add on photopass when buying the AP's, but declined. We don't need 3 photopasses- can go back and just buy one. But my disney app on my phone popped up an alert about having a new photopass. Though that certainly could be a Disney IT related bug.

The CM I talked with also gave me that option and asked which one I wanted the PhotoPass added to, knowing that it just needs to be on one of the APs. I went ahead and added it on. it's an extra $99.
