I finallyl got a timer on my queue for the web page. I had to wait on that page for almost an hour before it gave me a 30 minute wait time. Just got my wait time. Approximate Wait Time more than an hour Now it's 47 min. Go figure.

Finally my turn came, it redirected me to the page, but I had waited so long that it had signed me out. I signed in again, went straight to the AP page, and no queue. I was able to buy our passes with no issues.

I’ve assigned the passes to family members and entered my credit card info. But now it has been spinning for about an hour since I accepted the terms and clicked on the purchase button. Not sure if I should kill the session or keep watching it spin. I finally decided to check my email and saw the confirmation that the purchase went through even though I was still looking at Woody on my screen. The passes show in My Plans, too.

For those here who have successfully purchased AP's this morning via the website, they have been new purchases, not bridging an existing unused ticket, correct? We were successful (after 3 hr) at a new purchase of the sorcerer pass. We've tended to buy them every other year to cover two trips, but our last one lapsed last year.

Yes - I was placed in the virtual queue but by going back to the Disney MDE page in a different browser, without clicking on the Annual pass page I clicked the "Cart" button.Somehow they were still there, and it let me buy them. Disney IT never ceases to amaze me and not in a good way

Finally success. Was able to get in queue, waited 45 min or so, redirected to purchase Annual pass!!! Morning started out very stressful, but now I can “calm down”.
Daughter was able to also get passes for her family of 4.
Two trips planned for July and November. Time to start thinking about next spring!!

Glad to see everyone is finally getting through. I still haven't even received the email from DVC notifying me that this is happening. Their communication, as usual, is inconsistent.

I am not surprised by the decision to sell AP's now. It is a guaranteed cash flow in, especially when they are laying off 7000 employees Just a fyi, the layoffs are not at the parks. They are mostly in the media side of the Disney companies. Definitely worth keeping in mind as far as any impact on park experience.

Both my wife and I are on our account and have separate dvc logins. But I got the AP email and she didn't. definitely strange- she gets other notices.

Finally got 1 annual pass for myself. DH did not want one and was not sure that the kids would get enough use out of theirs. So excited, although they definitely should have just started with a queue this morning and would have saved everyone a lot of time.

I'm glad we have renewals and won't need to renew again until September, I am very glad that these are back, but the process does seem a bit onerous.

Finally got through the queue. When I got to the AP page it automatically put the number of passes at 4. I am guessing that is because I manage my DD and 2 GDs accounts. The system would have let me purchase the Sorcerer pass for them but they are not DVC members. They just travel with me most of the time. I almost went ahead and purchased the 4 passes anyway but figured I would have a hard time at MS when we tried to redeem them and had no proof they were in the same household. So 1 for me only. She will have to wait until next week IF she wants APs.
