I finally devoted time to watch Encanto, and really enjoyed it. So colorful and fun. I think it'll be such a great addition to Animal Kingdom.
Otherwise, 2 more episodes of Bad Batch left, and still just loving it. A bit worried it'll end on a somber, emotional tone like Clone Wars, but have no idea. Since we know very little about the majority of these characters, anything could happen.
We dropped Paramount, so I wanted to watch a few things before it went away. Watched Lioness, meh. That seemed very disjointed Like too many tangents, that either didn't matter, or were supposed to matter but weren't developed well, idk. Maybe because they're planning another season.
DH is watching Shogun and enjoying it. He also really liked Fallout. He played the game, familiar with it all. I might watch it one day, doesn't feel like a must for me though.
Looking for something new now

We started to watch it and it seamed pretty good but there were too many subtitles for us, not a big fan of reading the tv. We just finish Renegade Nell on Disney +, entertaining and it reminds me of the Disney shows from the 70s.

I was referring to Fallout being a video game, not Shogun. Yeah, he's opted to watch a lot of it with the dubbing, but then he's also gone back and rewatched the same episode with the subtitles. He is liking it. Sometimes it's hard for me to see the whole scene, watch the actors when I'm focuses on the subtitles. The dubbing though can just be awful. Good to hear Renegade Nell stays good. We watched the first episode and enjoyed it. Will try and make some time to finish it. Love that setting/time period.

My bad I didn't noticed that you had switched the comment over to Fallout which I am a couple of episodes into now. I have never played the game but as a TV show I find it a bit strange.

Just finished 'We Were the Lucky Ones' on Hulu. What an amazing story. Based on a true story, it's set in Poland during WWII and follows a family through the war. It's 8 episodes and definitely worth your time. Another show that just started on FX/Hulu is 'The Veil'. This has caught my interest and I am looking forward to the next episode. Oh and 'Welcome to Wrexham' is back!

Currently watching the “ The Tatooist of Auschwitz” on Peacock. Based on a true story. Must watch!! Speaking of Peacock.... you'll be able to see yours truly on Peacock/ID tv/ABC soon. I've already done 3 hours of interview with them and have another 3 hour session this Wednesday. It's about the Lady of the Dunes murder case that I worked on for 20 years while I was still working and then another 15 years after I retired. You can google the case if you're interested. The executive producer called it "riveting"...

Awesome!!!! Please remind us when it is to air!! I'll do that. I'm pretty sure that it's going to be months yet but I do know that they want to get it on the air this year because it's the 50th anniversary.

Just saw "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" in our $9 Tuesday lie flat theatre (no other way ). It was good, not great. The CGI gets more and more impressive. The plot was interesting, albeit trite in places. worth seeing at that price. Saw yet another preview for "Furiosa." This looks insanely good. Plus a new "Bad Boys" that looks great. Cheers.

I'm kind of looking forward to the new "Wicked" movie based on the trailers. Thoughts?

"Unfrosted" on Netflix. The movie was created by, and stars, Jerry Seinfeld. A movie about cereal. It is hilarious. And a great cast: Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Poehler, Hugh Grant, Peter Dinklage, Christian Slater and more.
Well worth the watch for those with Netflix.
Cheers.
