Found another good series on Netflix called 'The Snow Girl'. It's a Spanish language series but I don't mind subtitles. I really enjoyed it and it was hard to not binge it.

Last night I watched the We Are the World documentary on Netflix. If you grew up listening to music in the 80's, you'll like it. Seeing what they had to do to get the song done in a very short time window with music legends and newcomers made me appreciate the song more. I actually remember where I was when the song premiered on the radio. I was working in a pizzeria in college, and we all stopped working to listen, and as we recognized who was singing, we'd yell out their name.

The Who's Who of 80s pop.
Cheers.

Friday night, wife was at sister's watching something on tv and they kept running these Lay's chips commercials, over and over. Everyone was telling my wife it was from the movie "Groundhog Day". She had never seen this movie. Everyone, myself included, was like "What?" So tonight she ordered pizza and said "let's watch Groundhog Day". 3.99 rental on Amazon, free because I keep doing that thing where I move stuff a day or two later and get their free credits. Good times, it's been years.
Bill Murray reminded me very much of his goof-ball character on Ghostbusters, alongside Andie MacDowell, yes yes.

Don't forget him in Caddyshack! Unpopular opinion: "Caddyshack" never did much for me.

I’ve tried watching some of the Harlan Cobin series on Netflix, but I just can’t get passed when they dub in English words. I cant stand when the words don’t match the mouth movement. I’m finding more and more Netflix content is doing this.

We will routinely use them for things that are very colloquially British (Witcher, some episodes of Black Mirror) where we just can't catch it all as it goes by. Occasionally not word-for-word, but the meaning is the same.
Cheers.

Looks more than scary to me ! And Season4 for Witcher… I have been looking for something funny ! Neither of these are funny. Witcher is intense fantasy with a good, IMO story line. Black Mirror is chilling and starkly realistic in near-future predictions, some of which have started to actualize. The Dark in the title is accurate.
For funny, there is Space Force. Steve Carell and John Malkovich. Doesn't get any better. However, I have heard that if one liked "The Office," which I did not find funny, this may not be to taste.
"Cunk on Earth" is wickedly funny for those who like Pythonesque humor (I loved it; mrs. brp did not).
Cheers.

A lot of times, I"ll try it, especially if I am kinda keeping the TV on for noise, not totally watching, but eventually I can't stand it, and I'll switch back to subtitles. I did that with Fauda and Lupin and some other.Monsieur Spade and Brothers Kim are already subtitled, so I have to pay attention!
