Felt like we needed to ask this. I see we had a couple users who use mobile and like it. I had more complain about it swapping out all the time. I think not all will be happy but as I work on a better ways for mobile I would like a majority i think at least happy.
ETA Tapatalk is now working. So try that for a much better mobile look.

For me, it's more about readability when using a mobile browser. I really don't like having to zoom to read when using my iPhone.

I agree that I much prefer mobile view as I’m typically on my iPhone. Currently, I have to zoom in and move the page around to see/read.

I appreciate honesty. Does doing landscape help? I do want to make as many happy as possible. Also curious, what do you do on sites that don't have mobile?
Just getting thoughts. I've tried helping the mobile to say how to supposedly always keep in desktop mode but iPhones seem to have issues with this most and I have no idea why.

Also curious, what do you do on sites that don't have mobile? Avoid them as much as possible when only on mobile.

I am mostly on mobile with no desktop issues or laptop In short I have no real personal feels so I am attempting to do best for all. I fear someone will be unhappy, so I want people's strong feelings on his truly!

I voted no but I truly don’t care. I will roll with what pleases the many. Agree, it seems to be the IPhones ( and not the IPad) that are reverting back to mobile even while staying logged in. I cant test it now because we are in desktop only mode. But if I could test it, I would first login to MagicOwners, and it will appear in mobile view. Then I would have to click desktop view and it would change. However, I believe once I closed out it would revert back to mobile but still remained logged in. I would need to test this sequence to confirm how it was reverting back. I know there was never an option I saw to choose always desktop on the IPhone.

I'd prefer the mobile version, but can live with whatever decision you make.

I'm looking into a great mobile option that is better than mobile here if those who need it are willing.

For websites that don’t have mobile view, I do the same re: zooming in. It doesn’t usually bother me, as I’m not reading that much on the site. On proboards or any other forum, I prefer not having to zoom.
That said, landscape does help! Thanks for that suggestion.

But 90% of sites I look at are in landscape. I dislike many mobile sites. I am working to find out why our site isn't loading to tapatalk which is a good app. It's quite nice for those who want mobile but way better than this version of mobile. Obviously keeping this open for a while to get everyone's thoughts.

I am a tech dunce so this conversation is a bit confusing to me. I look at MO mostly on my iPad, is this considered mobile? iPhone 13 Pro, not the biggest screen but seeing that MOs looks better today, sideways of course. Keep up the good work!!

Tablets tend to render in desktop more often. Phones tend to do mobile. So on your iPad you were likely seeing desktop but phone mobile. I'm working on a good alternative but having to get help since our site is in the proboards directory but not loading on tapatalk app.

Mobile view shows you folders on the left next to the topics. Desktop view shows you black Mickey heads next to the topics. That is how you can tell which view you are looking at.
