I need to buy 50 OKW points and would appreciate and recommendations on best place to look.
My first time doing it.

For a small purchase, it can make sense to buy direct (and "direct" is a word rarely spoken in the timeshare community). But the price differential is often not enough to make up for the fee difference. Then there's time for stuff to get into the account.
A little more than a year back we bought 25 points BWV direct.
Others can chime in with specifics on OKW and whether 50 is above that tradeoff line. Also, it seems that resale prices are coming down of late, so maybe the balance has shifted.

I would refer you to our rental site, but it is not active at this time. If you google “ DVC points for rent” you will get a multitude of hits. There are also Facebook groups that offer rentals as well.
When our site is up and running, you will have wonderful people in which to rent from. Check back often! |

I pulled that, but none of the names match with members here as far as I can see. Oh - now that's a problem I hadn't thought of - many people changed their name when they moved here! One thing I'll mention - if you are looking to have points transferred to you so that you can book the reservation (vs renting which is having the owner make the reservation for you), it might be difficult to find someone who will transfer just 50 points. Each contract can only have one transfer each year, so typically the owner wants to transfer everything from that contract (there are exceptions, of course). |
