If unsure about using a GC for tipping, you can always use your MB to put the bill plus tip on your room charge, then reconcile your room charge using the GC. That's a good suggestion. Thanks!!

This is a really basic Waitlist question not deserving of its own thread We have a BWV stay in September and our return flight is somewhat late. So I decided to waitlist the extra night so we can checkout later. We have fewer BWV points, but more BCV points. As we're within 7 months, I know I can use BCV points. When I set it up, I picked that member number and indicated BCV as the place to borrow. So seems good. When I look at details, though, I can't find that info anywhere to confirm, is it there and I'm just missing it? Thanks. Cheers.

Are you looking for a confirmation or to see the points taken from where you borrowed? The points you won’t see borrowed unless the waitlist comes through. I know many like to do things online but a call to MS (the wait times have not been bad lately) you can confirm with them.

It's more that I just want to be able to look at the WL I set up and see that it is set up the way I think it is set up. It just seems that information about the construction of this WL is missing from the current record.
Cheers.

We are bringing the family to WDW in December and I am hoping to get my granddaughter, who is 4 and a HUGE princess fan, into the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique.
I saw the 30% Passholder discount posted here for ShopDisney (thank you Eeyorlover22 for posting) and see that it will apply to the princess costumes. My question is, are the princess costumes at ShopDIsney and WDW good enough quality to last through the trip? I have bought her some of the Disney princess dress up clothes and they are awful. Not sure if the actual costumes are better.
Thanks for your help!

Question about using Disney gift cards. Can you use Disney gift cards to pay for a table serve dinner? And can you use it for the tip, too? If we're paying with GC, we tip with GC.

If we get a Tron boarding group at the 6 pm drop for the extended hours at MK, will that for sure be called after 11? We didn’t plan to go to MK until closer to then. But MDE doesn’t show any expected return time, or what Bg they’re on. We don’t want to miss it

With that said, they'd likely let you go at 11, but no guarantee.
Cheers.

Thanks so much for the info. We’ll plan to head to MK earlier just to be sure!

We have a 6 night reservation. We decided that 6 nights is just too long, and it requires borrowing that will mean a studio next year. So, I want to shorten by one night (taking out a Friday night, so a big win). If I change online, will it automagically use the borrowed points first and release present year points, or do I have to call to make sure it happens right?
Edit: so the DVC website is actually really good here. I modeled it just to check, and it made very clear that the borrowed points would be used first and the returned points would be from the current UY. Kudos to Disney on making this very clear and easy.
Cheers.

Cheers. The system does use the borrowed points first. Where the system isn’t so user-friendly is that it doesn’t show which points have been used on the last screen of booking. It would be much clearer if it summarised where those points were taken from. However you should be able to see it from the page that shows your points from each use year, as the freed up current points will be available to bank (assuming you’re not within 30 days).

Cheers. Funny…I read the first sentence and said to myself “Wow, Bruce is starting to stay more nights in his retirement” and the I read on and chuckled to myself about shortening the reservation.

Hey, 5 is a long trip for us. And they're weekdays- Sunday-Thursday nights. We don't really fine enough to do for more than that. New Orleans, for Jazz Fest, is 12 nights, though
Cheers.

Do I have this correct: AP holders can enter any park after 2p without a Park Reservation? Does this mean that if we enter parks after 2p I do not have to make any Park Reservations?
