Now you should say, "What's a Radio Shack?" Can you say battery card? I had a battery operated talking alarm clock my sister got me at Radio Shack. It's battery died one day after countless years; I opened it up and it said Radio Shack. I thought, those must have been good batteries. Our Radio Shack had closed by then, and I have to assume actually that the batteries were just Rayovac or something, rebranded.

Speaking of Radio Shack, I bought my first computer shortly after graduating from college in 1980. At the time, I had a choice of Apple II+, a Commodore Pet, and a Radio Shack TRS-80 (nicknamed "Trash-80"). I got the Apple II+ with 64kb of memory, you would never need more. It came with multiple inch thick manuals for the computer and for the Basic language.

The place I worked had a Trash-80 club of enthusiasts with a lot of peek-and-poke going on.
Cheers.

I grew up banging the keys of an IBM PCjr that my dad brought home in 1984. Before that we used a TI 99/4A (used game cartridges similar to nintendo and atari but much more rudimentary) and before that we had a Sinclair ZX80. You'll have to look that one up, see it to believe it. More like an overgrown calculator. You hooked it up to a tv, and you could program simple basic programs on it, and if you wanted to save your stuff, you hooked an audio cable from it to a tape deck and hit "record" while you "played" your data on the Sinclair. The resulting audio-cassette sounded like static mixed with the dial-up tones alot of us are familiar with.

We’ll save some donuts for you on the Wish. Happy weekend everyone! How was your extended stay in Nassau? Did you still need to be on the ship like normal time?

Eeyorelover22, although many seem to have a problem with the Wish, we love it. The Wish employees and DVC reps are so nice. We enjoyed the magnets DVC provided for our door. The ears are so cute and I won't let DH put them on the car because the magnets keep falling off. Hyperion Space Bar (or whatever it's called) is cool and worth a visit, although I'd just get a regular drink like DH instead of one of their 'specials'. We signed up for a martini and a beer tasting, which was very informative (DH drank most of the martini's - LOL - ditto the beer tasting). Enjoy!

We need to get into HSB … first cruise and first with the Wish was a blur. My mom will have drinks. She loves martinis! Once I have them at the terminal and thru security I’ll breathe a little easier. 85 and 88. Gotta keep track of Bill too. Once confined, I’m good. Deck 11 is where I’ll drop Bill. thank you!!
