I truly am happy for everyone who are able to renew their APs but I have to admit, reading it throws a little fuel on the fire of my frustration. I’m one of the many who have had an AP since purchase of DVC until CoVid closure. Didn’t renew because I didn’t know how long they’d be closed. Now locked out. Not good move Disney. Let us back in. That really is frustrating. Sandra and I are right there with y'all. We had the pass with no blackout dates for several years, and enjoyed the photo pass. There was no warning that we would not be allowed to purchase again, once travel was (somewhat) back to normal! Most of you folks posting here aren’t part of the original chatty thread. That’s perfectly fine! Sweetie and I have some incredibly great friends from the original group, and I’ll never be done making new friends! That said, I LOVE the Polynesian Resort! We checked in and went straight to Tambo Lounge. Backscratcher and I’m all set! We arrived around 10:25 tonight. More to come tomorrow….. Oh, for the old hats in the group, Yes! I bought a box of chocolate doughnuts right away! Where do you purchase your doughnuts, Dan? 10:25 arrival would suggest somewhere at or near the Polynesian. We are kind of taking it easy for a couple of days. Sandra has not felt well since mid-week, so I went to a "visitation" (not as much fun as a "wake") this morning, without her. Successful businessman in Tuscaloosa, and he and his wife were/are very generous and lovely people, so there was a horde...very well-behaved as hordes go...waiting in the receiving line. The line was even longer once I made my way through in about a half hour, and the funeral was set to begin 15 minutes later. I am afraid that many, many well-wishers will not get a moment with Roberta. Alabama is the SEC basketball champ (regular season - tourney to come) this year. They are playing their final game of the season at Texas A&M right now. Ive been working on income taxes and don't have the energy to even watch. Good thing I'm working online, as I at least don't get teardrops on the tax forms. I see everyone has anniversaries coming up. Congrats to all! Have a great weekend. |

We made it to Dallas on Friday and home today. Such a nice time! But I will beat Brian to the punch - tomorrow is freaking Monday. Grrr

Patty, freaking Monday was followed by a worse freaking Tuesday here. Hopefully some improvement the rest of the week, ha, Glad you enjoyed Dallas!

DD and DW are in WDW for the Tron preview. They started their day in Epcot; rode Guardians, Soarin' twice, ate at a few of the F&G booths; monorailed to MK; rode Haunted Mansion and Buzz; their Tron time is 2-3. I think they're going to Polite Pig for an early dinner before heading to MCO. Nice day. I'm just a little jealous.  |

Plane was a little late but rode GotG, Soarin, Test Track and Journey. Stopped for a citrus sip and a super cute orange bird sipper. picked up a few gingerbread cookies for family coming tomorrow |
