Thanks for posting. They were a bit slower to load and I totally forgot to post when I did finally book as I went on rental search after. Flights are officially higher now consistently for us, but got what I needed to finish up our 8 days this summer.
To add to this Costco gift cards are on sale for $429.99 today instead of $449.99

Southwest flights are now open thru August 4th. Yeah-- I looked when you posted this, but not sooner since I wasn't pining over any late-summer flights. Things we'd usually buy (like a Fri-Tue to Orlando) are still like 17K-19K points even when they first come out. This is just the way it is now.

We booked our flights for our Bahamas Trip to Atlantis. This year we reserved our timeshare for a Sunday-Sunday stay because of sports and Dan's required Saturday work days. Thank goodness we did because the Sat-Sat flights were $1100 vs $600 for the Sun-Sun flights. For eight people, that is a savings of $4000.

Our trip for summer is Sat-Sat and I chose it in part because it was cheaper than Sun-Sun. We were much more limited with our available departure days due to school ending and spouse saving days off until he figures out the new job time off stuff.

I booked our flights for our DLR trip next year and was pleasantly surprised to find both the flights in and the flights out of SNA were cheaper than LAX so I happily booked. Glad to not have to deal with the chaos of LAX or the longer ride too/from DLR.
The flight choices in and out of SNA were better too and prices were about the same as what I'd scoped using earlier dates before ours were available so I was happy (though wishing we might get lucky and get a bit lower).
