Any STL experts out there? Where do you park at the airport? Need an easy way to tell my son where to go / park... TY!! (for Southwest, which googling, looks like it's at T2)

I can help. We always park at Superpark Lot C. Parking is $10 a day, $12 for covered parking. It's easy to get to from I-70, off the Cypress Rd. exit (235C); address is 4359 Cypress Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074.

That's cool... I've made a note for the future! $10 is super cheap. He ended up parking in the lot adjacent to T2... which cost more, but it was early in the morning and we weren't sure about shuttles. First thing we ran into there was a flyer at the bus stop saying buses were running less frequently due to something... so he walked and it was like a 5-min walk to the terminal. It was not a long trip, so the higher cost per night was bearable.

We fly out of Minneapolis and there are a number of private lots one can park at for $12-$14 a day and get shuttled to the terminal. We used to do that. For a two week trip it was like $140 or so with discounts, but after a bad experience waiting FOREVER for a packed shuttle and some stress involving flight times, we decided to drive to the terminal ourselves and park in their parking ramp. I prepay for a slight discount but it is still $350 give-or-take for a two-week trip. Which sucks. HOWEVER when you park on your own terms and walk like three minutes to the ticket counter, it seems pretty nice....then when you land back home at 10pm after a long day in the air, and you collect your suitcases and THREE MINUTES LATER you are on the road, you say to yourself "this might be worth it"
So now that's what we do. I don't think we can go back to that thing where it's 4:30 in the morning and you are standing next to your car with your luggage in the snow for 15 minutes, then a shuttle pulls up and you say "yay! vacation!" then you drive around for like 20 more minutes picking up people then 10 minutes to the airport and you are crammed in and it's like a sauna in there and you are looking at your watch as the time just keeps ticking, no thanks.

In the last 15 or so years, we've only had one shuttle issue, and it was from the east terminal to the parking lot one evening when we had to wait about 20 minutes for a shuttle. I don't remember having problems with overcrowding.
