Touringplans used to be one of my go to places for crowd levels and other information concerning Walt Disney World Resort. A few months ago they made some major changes to their website and I have found it very difficult to navigate. For me it has been a total bust and it is doubtful that I will renew my subscription which I have maintained for over 15 years. Has anyone else had a similar experience??

I dislike the colours they’ve used, but I find the new navigation easier. I used to need direct links to find things, whereas now I can see them on the main page better. Are you using the website or the app? I’m definitely a website person, even when on my phone.

I have become less and less a fan of the site and info. I haven't found their crowd predictions helpful in a number of years either. I use them mostly to look at views now. I still pay but really am thinking I'm about done with that since their room requests haven't worked since covid.

I've had more success with room requests using the chat or email directly to WDW. My TP subscription goes into 2027. It's not likely that I'll renew. The new format is visually unappealing, the My Trips page doesn't do anything for me, since I keep a note on my phone with the same information, and the format of their forums is not user-friendly.

Mine ends in April of next year. I looked at the current rate, and at $25 for a year, I'm not doing that. I ran some tests after covid with using TP for room requests and found out they were 0 for I want to say it was four or five trips. I have been using the request by chat or email and that does way better.

Years ago, their site and information was useful. Fastpasses were first come, first served and it did matter where the crowds were for each day. Now, with virtual queue, lightning lanes, Genie+, etc.....it does not matter nearly as much.
The only online tool I use anymore is for locating dining reservations.

This one is currently not available right now anyway. Apparently it broke during the last update of finding reservations. At this point, I don't expect it to ever return from them. Mouse dining seems to be working though still

No way of knowing, but it felt like the resort was sending a message, because when we got the room ready text from WDW (while on the plane) and saw the location, I went to the front desk when we arrived, before going to the room, and they were able to change our room to the area we requested. Hmm...

Hmm... I honestly wouldn't be surprised when I got the request for them and literally or figuratively just threw them in the trash. I am sure Disney is over getting requests like this from outside groups. I will stick to what's been working decently for me for now. This one is currently not available right now anyway. Apparently it broke during the last update of finding reservations. At this point, I don't expect it to ever return from them. Mouse dining seems to be working though still Sry, I was not clear in my response. I did not mean using Touring Plans ADR finder, but using an outside website/apps in general for WDW planning. Ah that makes sense! There are plenty of other sites that do it and do it better IMO. I think I had success with TP ADR once or twice max? I did better other ways but tbh dining isn't our big deal now.

I haven’t used any external sites in several years. Of course I also don’t ever bother with room requests and dining I can get what I want 99% of the time, and if not, I’ll find an enjoyable alternative.
