Looks like Disney has finally found a "hit" at the box office, with the latest release.....Inside Out 2.
The movie had a budget of $175 million and grossed $155 million over the weekend. The reviews seem to be positive or at the very least, not too negative. D3 saw it yesterday with his parents, so I will get his opinion tomorrow, when comes over for a few days.
Did anyone else see the movie? Did you like it or hate?

Yes... It was very good. Rare case where a sequel is better than the original. Great new characters and story!

We did not see the original, but may be wroth seeing the two. Not sure if/when Disney releases these things to disk, but we can take them out from the library. May have to look into this set.

Been too busy to go. Not much of a movie theater person either. Friends loved it though. I can see it being like Toy Story where new stories are easy to come up with though.

Went with our 12 yr old and 5 yr old yesterday to see it. Both enjoyed it very much as did the wife and I. It is a very good and well done movie! It deals with Riley hitting puberty and the changes/stress/pressure we all face as we enter high school.

We saw the preview when we were in DHS a few weeks back.....thought it looked very cute....needs something funny these days!!!

I really liked the original and am looking forward to IO2. This week / next week are packed, but likely will take DD to see it in theater sometime in early July.

Probably won't have a chance to see it in the theatre but I do want to watch it. Hoping it's showing on our cruise in August.

We saw it this past weekend, kids (10/7) and both DW and I really liked the movie. Kids were asking the next day if they can watch it on D+ yet or not. Lol

I actually loved the first Inside Out. We enjoyed it and hope to enjoy the 2nd one. I think they should do one with a teenage/pre-teen boy...

Looks like the first movie is available at our library. I have a Hold on it now and will wait until the second movie is at the library to see that one. Now that we can no longer get disks from Netflix, the library is our source.
Unfortunately, now that '2' is out '1' has become very popular  Cheers. |

DD saw it with her Grandma last week, and really liked it. I
am looking very forward to seeing it, but will most likely wait for streaming, esp since DD already saw it. I love the first one, in my top 3 Pixar movies. One of the few times we all wore matching shirts at Disney, I'd found some for the emotions for each of us, and that was fun!
