With all the talk of the Ft Wilderness Cabins failure to sell and build-up to the Poly Tower sales, had me wondering how many points will the Tower sell in its first month of sales?
The restrictions are hurting the new resorts....Riviera, Disneyland and Ft Wilderness. Prospective new owners are turned off by those and the higher fees of Cabins and Disneyland. The Tower will not have either of those, plus have prime location and views near Magic Kingdom.

I love this post... but I really want to know point charts or estimates of total points available before I guess.
In March of 2022 VGF sold 6.5% of its new resort points. 115,999 points.
I'll say at least that! But may amend my guess later with more data given.

I did make my vote based off of the Grand Floridian sales in 2022, but I'm willing to admit it is a guess based off of that knowing full well that this might be totally different due to differing numbers. It could be higher based on having more than studios alone.

I voted 175K-250K -- I feel like there's a lot of pent-up demand (though I admit I really have no idea what I'm doing by hazarding a guess; never have tracked stats such as these)

I went big (250k-325k). I’m guessing the new Poly tower will be slightly larger than the 2022 VGF and will sell a lot more. There is pent up demand for a highly desirable DVC that won’t have re-sale restrictions.

Originally, I was going to say higher than normal - whatever normal is - but I've seen the graphics on the new tower lobby and it kinda looks like a knock off of GF or RIV (lots of white and gold accents) which doesn't say Polynesia to me.

I see earth tones here, not gold accents. Interestingly enough the Polynesian vibes in the lobby are what is turning some people who hated if for it. See this post from Tikiman. To me it is extremely on point with out being gaudy or kitschy. The idea that it is pulling from original drawings that Walt Disney was a part of with the Florida Project in the 60s before he died is a nice touch.

I guess I was interpreting the 'brown' as 'gold'. Either way, it still looks very Marriott-y high end.

I picked a number. Mostly though my guess is the Poly tower sales blows Fort Wilderness cabin sales out of the water.

I do think it is going to be quality for sure with a bit more upscale vibe all of which I think will work there. It really gives me a subtle Moana vibe really without plastering IPs there. I picked a number. Mostly though my guess is the Poly tower sales blows Fort Wilderness cabin sales out of the water. I think a lump a coal would blow FtW Cabins sales out of the water
