Just got a pop up on my phone that the new Passholder magnet will be STITCH!

I liked when they used to give useful things to passholders at F&W each year: Coasters, small cutting boards, tumblers. No interest whatsoever in yet more magnets. But the magnets are certainly cheaper Cheers.

This is my first year with AP. I thought a collection of magnets would be fun on the garage fridge. but I really don't like Stitch. LOL

I disagree with brp, they are of great use. I now have a wonderfully colorful water heater in the garage and they can reconfirm your faith in people by seeing how long they will last on the back of your car in the WDW parking lots.... Ok just kidding I would never put any magnet on to the paint of my car.

I can tell you that in Florida the WDW magnets disintegrate on your car (probably weather related), but getting every little piece of disintegrated magnet off of your car can be a full time job.

We love our magnets around here. The fridge is completely covered with magnets, as is the mini fridge upstsairs, and the file cabinet. Not sure if they had any on our spring break trip, but we didn't get any. I wish more of the DVC had magnets. That's our thing to collect when we travel.

We live in Maryland, and we've had them disintegrate on the car, too. What a pain to get off. I try to move them around, so I don't have that issue. We do love getting the magnets though. There is a nice collection on our refrigerator.

I won't do them on my car either but I like Stitch. Magnets are used on the side of our fridge but I am running out of space.

Ok just kidding I would never put any magnet on to the paint of my car. I would also never disfigure my car with a magnet...for anything. Just not good for the car.
Cheers.

We have only two magnets on the front of our refrigerator: One is a remembrance of 9/11. The other was given to me by my sister-in-law and includes a picture of, and quote by, Robin Williams: You're only given one little spark of madness...you mustn't lose it.
Nothing else would seem appropriate. The rest is the metal of the door and clutter-free.
YMMV.
Cheers.

If we get them, they go on the refrigerator.....or we give them away to people that cherish them more than we do.

We stick some on the cars because, to me, all the cars look alike. I can't tell you how many times I've stood at the wrong car. I was doing that last week at Home Depot and DH said, "What are you doing?" as he walked by to our actual car. Our beverage fridge is loaded with DVC and AP magnets. The kids just laugh at all of them.

"What are you doing?" as he walked by to our actual car. That's the problem with cars these days, isn't it? Once wife and I got it in our head what our next car is going to be, you can't go one minute down the road without seeing that same car driving around. There's a small store near me I go to, and an employee must have virtually the same car as one of mine. I walked up to the car and it wouldn't unlock. I thought, "oh no, what's broke now...hey this car is certainly rustier than I remember" and THEN I realized my error. Luckily the alarm didn't go off or anything. Sometimes, I like a little anonymity though. I don't really want everyone noticing me. Our normal "daily" is a wagon from 2000; it has now become old enough that it sticks out like a sore thumb. I even had my sister tell me that her husband saw me driving around. I'm not saying I'm doing anything sneaky, but what if I was? One of my other cars is a 91 Honda Civic. Just a Honda Civic, nothing special. But it's from 1991. One day I was driving it and I locked eyes with a guy who had a similar Honda and he gave me two giant thumbs-up! It's Minnesota, cars that age are usually long gone from rust. Then I've got a 1976 Dodge van. Painted with a very retro paint scheme. I get nervous when I go to gas stations that everyone is going to want to talk to me about it...but luckily, for some reason, nobody notices vans. If it was a muscle car of some kind I'd probably have to carry a stick to keep people away.

When I drove regular Hondas that was a problem. Had a silver Toyota Rav4 in March that it happened with too at Riviera. My Civic Si was unique enough that it never happened (back when they were hatchbacks) and then I went to Minis. They are definitely unique enough that in my 3 years I have never seen one even close enough to confuse. My neighbor has a green EV as well, but mine has bonnet stripes and a black roof, custom grille & boot handle, and black roof & mirrors, where theirs is solid green with a more generic grille. Hard to mix this girl up
