In my case the resale agent was floored that it was taken. Right now there are not enough contracts to even try if I was willing to try at $170 or so a point... which at this time I'm not. Good thing I have PVB points already and can be patient. Taking this as a sign to stop trying for now... PVB went from 50+ contracts at the beginning of the year to 35 or so at March to 12-15 total in April. Sorry to hear yours got taken too. That a big drop in resale inventory. The announcement at the condo association started it. The real recent permit info sealed it and caused the already dwindling supply to dry up. I'll keep looking but I'm definitely not jumping until I find the one. |

Welp, I'm doing it again. 100 points June UY 87/2024 100/2025 points $175 a point but paying the asking price gave me half off closing costs so better than the $173 we were going to agree upon by a smidge. I save money and hopefully, Disney leaves me the heck alone. I'll update when it sends to ROFR.

Welp, I'm doing it again. 100 points June UY 87/2024 100/2025 points $175 a point but paying the asking price gave me half off closing costs so better than the $173 we were going to agree upon by a smidge. I save money and hopefully, Disney leaves me the heck alone. I'll update when it sends to ROFR. Wow!! I see a September stripped contract, just like the one I bid on but it’s only 100 points. Really wondering if I should try that low bid again? I just don’t know if 100 points is going to be enough, even if I borrowed what I needed extra every year if it would be worth it. But it’s my UY. Ugg!! Fingers crossed for you!!!!! |

The balance is what do you think is Disney's low? $155 was taken. That really weighed on me. I also looked at incentives. They don't always offer much at the beginning to make it worth it. I am expecting a jump in price after June. Even with the fire sales resale is still a good savings. I'm not entirely sure 100 is enough but I have no issues doing a low point direct if needed. |

Not so much with the $125 or $135 contracts. Makes me think that they are not going to give a good deal at opening and maybe innthe $250 range. Hopefully this one passes for me. If not I give up  |

Thanks! I mathed it out and it's more like I am paying $170 a point. But $175 looks better to DVC I am sure. Or I hope after last time!

The Poly points aren't getting cheaper anytime soon.
The economy is whacked, so who knows when and where the next "impact" will be on resales.

Maybe they built the cabins on purpose - to make the Poly Tower look like a "must have" by comparison with the substandard offering

Even though I am not a Poly Resort fan, I do know that the Poly fandom is huge and really does not need help selling. |

The Poly points aren't getting cheaper anytime soon.

I am also guessing based on a full for 2024 contract being taken at $155 that Disney expects to resell for a decent profit. I don't believe for a second now that even with discounts, PVB will sell for under $200 a point direct with discounts at any level. My gut is saying at that amount we're looking at smaller discounts like GF had in 2022. Definitely not the $17 off right now. The issue is going to be balancing prices among all WDW resorts. Though they could break form and do different prices for non sold out WDW resorts and start it at the Disneyland prices. Once the $17 off discount ends I think we'll see hints of prices after. Boulder Ridge- 175 points @ $100/pp. 350 2024, 175 2025, 175 2022 expiring in September. Buyer pays cc and 2024 dues. Went to ROFR yesterday. Fingers crossed!
