Official here: PVB 135 points June UY with all 2024 & 2025 points available. $155 per point. Sent to ROFR 4/20/24 Good luck!
I think your odds are better than average to pass ROFR.
Thanks! I am pretty hopeful about it. One contract I had put an offer in on but the agent sucked in responding so I lost it, was one of the ones taken. Still lower than most not stripped in that point range too. I wasn't expecting the seller to accept my offer given the number of "asking price only" listings out there.

On my Riviera contract, I went low and was expecting a counter offer. When they accepted with no counter, I was mad because that meant I could have went lower. But in reality, the cost per point for these contracts is trivial vs the lifetime cost of MF.

Yes and yes! At this point I might just suck up and do direct. It's going to get to the point where I won't want to screw with money in and out hoping Disney won't take it.

There is a concerted effort right now to ROFR any contract. 5 Poly ROFR’s in 2 weeks. I wonder if they are getting ready to announce pricing and they want as many contracts to sell, regardless if it has points or not on it. The only advantage to me going resale is price. If they are inflating resale prices now, I will be forced to look at direct where I can at least get my UY and not have rest. I am only hoping they have some kind of Magical Beginnings promo where they will buy back some points, reducing the overall PPP.

Let's say pre-sale prices will be $220 pp after incentives for 150 point add-on.
If you bought Poly resale at $170 pp, you will save $7500.

Buying up low Poly resale only props up the pricing DVC is going to drop for the Tower.

I like your math!! But don’t want 150 pts. Hoping incentives start at 100 pts.

If $155 is taken I need to wait to see the limit. This is not a game I need to play right now. I have PVB points already so it's not like I have FOMO with booking even. It's hard to guess what the deals will be. While I assume the sales will be strong, they also have some great deals out now too. I can wait. I have a certain amount earmarked for this so I'll do what's best. Not knowing the ceiling for either is something I can wait and see on. I like your math!! But don’t want 150 pts. Hoping incentives start at 100 pts. They often do for current owners. I just want to see how this shakes out. I have direct points already for PVB which is good. I want to see what they offer and then decide at this point at least. $7500 is a lot, but I'm likely to stay a bit lower until I know what college brings in terms of travel. At this time $160 is my limit until I know more. Not going to fight this now. I'll sip my tea and enjoy the fun lol

Yes. This is a want not a need hahaha. Also, I will look at a FW studio if I am going to go direct.
In the last week, resale for PVB have shrunk from 26 to 13. It’s a supply and demand game now and I am not paying these over inflated prices. It will be interesting to see what resale does once we finally know the terms and pricing for direct purchases.

Exacty! I won't pay what I think is over inflated either. Right now it's a frenzy. I don't need to be a part of that! At this point with zero June UY contracts that I want anyway as well as any other UY I'd consider, it's okay if I do nothing for now but watch and wait. I keep rereading the email like did I read it right? I was never thinking they'd take that!

Sorry to both of y'all for the ROFRs, and taken so fast! hopefully something better will come along. I know this was frustrating for sure!

Sorry to both of y'all for the ROFRs, and taken so fast! hopefully something better will come along. I know this was frustrating for sure! In my case the resale agent was floored that it was taken. Right now there are not enough contracts to even try if I was willing to try at $170 or so a point... which at this time I'm not. Good thing I have PVB points already and can be patient. Taking this as a sign to stop trying for now... PVB went from 50+ contracts at the beginning of the year to 35 or so at March to 12-15 total in April.

That a big drop in resale inventory.
