Just an FYI, this only applies to the state level lawsuit. Disney is still appealing their federal lawsuit.

Just an FYI, this only applies to the state level lawsuit. Disney is still appealing their federal lawsuit. Yep, Disney's federal case was dismissed by judge (Disney has appealed). This settles litigation at the state level. - Development plan executed by the old board right before the change-over has been set aside (null and void). - Return to 2020 development plan (new board is able to make changes). - Disney and new board will negotiate a new development plan in near future. So, no immediate impacts.

And again.....at the end of the day, only the Lawyers won.
I am glad it is done, and Disney can get back to running a theme park and movie business.

Cheers.

Here's hoping that whole massive goof is behind us. No matter which side was more wrong - and like most who followed this saga, I certainly have an opinion - both sides lost. Best way out of a lose/lose is to stop the bleeding.

Hopefully this means they are singing kumbaya, having a group hug, making love not war and will move on to the business at hand for the benefit of those who enter that magical land...

Yep, only lawyers win in the end. But way better overall for people not to be talking about it.

Slightly related, any other shareholders out there? I made my vote to keep the current board. I was not overly impressed with the Peltz presentation, which seemed to me to treat the parks as an afterthought. I think the recent stock price increases will help the cause of the current board.
