Good luck if you have not booked already!

I booked my Christmas trip flights. Was able to make a trip too yesterday evening to Costco to pick up the Southwest gift card. I had some credits too that I was able to use. Overall, I actually pleasantly surprised how much I ended up paying.

Our flights for Christmas to MCO were around $700 r/t, which I know will eventually come down.

I remember purchasing those flights. Only good part was it meant we were that much closer to Christmastime.

I’m so glad I saw this last night. I should have been paying attention and not depending on someone posting!

I’m so glad I saw this last night. I should have been paying attention and not depending on someone posting! If I'm waiting on Southwest flights, I just add a Reminder in my iPhone Reminders app and it lets me know when to look.
For now, we have all the WN flight we need for this year since they are our backup, so no need now. But always good to be on alert if something is needed.
Cheers.

I’ve never opened that app. Do you need to know the date? Or will it populate when it’s published? we usually just add things like that to the calendar, I just forgot to identify the day.

You do need to know that date, and you can get it from the Southwest site. Then just add a reminder event for that date, and set the time at which it will remind you. I like keeping these separate from the Calendar as they're easy to manage this way.
One can even have things that repeat at certain defined intervals where that's relevant.
It also allows reminders to be triggered based on arriving at a location. As an example, we turn our water heater down when we go away on longer trips. Then I set a location-based reminder to remind me to turn it back up when we get home.
Very useful app for this.
Can also create lists for shopping, packing, etc. And can create base templates to use to create the lists each time.
Definitely worth playing with.
Cheers.

Was anyone able to take advantage of the current Companion Promotion going on until May 27? We're flying on points so, unless the prices come down considerably, our May 9 flight doesn't count.

Friendly reminder to keep checking those flights you've already booked. I saved over 3,000 points/ticket on our flight to FLL in August!!
