From Disney Parks Blog
At Disney Springs, drones take to the skies above Lake Buena Vista with “Disney Dreams That Soar,” a summertime experience that will be a late-night perk for visitors. “You can fly” takes on a whole new meaning as we showcase Disney stories celebrating the joy of flight with state-of-the-art drones choreographed to create designs in the sky and paired with a “soaring” musical score (see what I did there?) and memorable movie quotes. After spending a day delighting in shopping, discovering fun activities and savoring diverse flavors at Disney Springs, turn your eyes to the skies above the West Side with a show amongst the stars.
“Disney Dreams That Soar” will run nightly from May 24 through Sept. 2

This could be neat. I won't be back until October, so I will miss it. Hopefully, it's a nice show.

That looks like it could be fun! If I can pull off another summer trip, this would be fun as part of a non-park visit. Thanks for sharing!

An entertainment addition to a non-ticketed area… no matter what it is, more impressive than we’ve seen in some time.
Will definitely give it a few views.
Hooray for more progress..

We leave a week before on our first trip and then go back in October. But there have to be some perks for going in summer Cheers.

We saw this earlier this week.... We plan to check it out the first week of June. Staying off site with no park tickets, this will be something new.

Looking forward to this! The holiday drone shows several years ago were good, and we were absolutely mesmerized by the 30th Anniversary drone shows in Disneyland Paris (maybe the castle helped with that). Glad we'll be there for the first few nights of this - it gives me another excuse to visit Gideon's!

Has anyone heard/read any further details on this, like showtimes? There's nothing showing on the DS calendar for end of May yet. I'm also wondering if this might disrupt ferry traffic to OKW, SSR, and POR. Does anyone happen to know how it worked w/ the 2016 holiday drone show and whether the ferries continued to run while it was going on or if they had to pause service before, during, and after? (Anyone recall what time that 2016 show took place?) My mom and brother and the Aussie clan (sister and her family) land at MCO shortly before 7pm on arrival day (a Saturday). They have a private shuttle/towncar to OKW and I'm wondering if they might be able to make it to DS in time to see this on arrival night. It would be a cool introduction to WDW for the Aussies who've never been.
