I would like to see the Riviera return to their nice plates and silverware and get rid of the box meals. Food tastes great either way, just not as appetizing in a cardboard box, imho.

Would like to see: 1900 Park Fare reopen with character dining, Trattoria al Forno bring back the Rapunzel breakfast, return of the ice cream socials on the Liberty Belle with Tiana, reopening of Storytime with Belle and Voyage of the Little Mermaid at HS.

Akershus breakfast, though dinner has grown on me...
1900 Park Fare reopening.

For whatever reason, I never even thought about this, but I totally agree! California Grill Sunday brunch. Akershus breakfast, though dinner has grown on me... 1900 Park Fare reopening. Garden Grill breakfast return. I've always wanted to try the Sunday brunch and have never had the opportunity. It will be my mission to do it on the next trip that it is back! |

I'm so glad you mentioned this. I ate at Primo Plato last night, and they brought me my Croque Monsieur on a paper plate, with a plastic fork. I was wondering if I imagined that they used to have real plates and silverware there. |

I'm so glad you mentioned this. I ate at Primo Plato last night, and they brought me my Croque Monsieur on a paper plate, with a plastic fork. I was wondering if I imagined that they used to have real plates and silverware there. Yes, very nice plates and silverware that added even more to the really nice ambiance.. Until Covid we had always had that nice chinaware. I am so ready for this to come back.

Something else that has been gone a long time now that I wish would come back are the napkins that had the logo design of each restaurant/dining spot on the napkin, such as Prime Time Cafe and so forth. Every now and then you can find some on the cruises, but none in the parks or resorts that I know of.

As well as the birds that used to be in that huge birdcage--miss them, too.

Carrying this one step further, plastic bags and merchandise are labelled "Disney Parks" but I have stuff from back in the day that are labelled "Disneyland" and "Walt Disney World" Believe it or not, I have a cocktail napkin circa 1986 that has a small purple EPCOT logo in the corner, when it was five rings. Framed out in my garage. Not a good frame because I made it when I was a teen but hey it's real glass. |

Every time I've visited the GF lobby, my wife and I would look at each other and chuckle to ourselves, "what's with the decor in here? That thing over there looks like a bird cage!"
Never once did we actually think it really was literally just that, and just didn't have birds in it anymore! haha!
(Why don't they remove it? What's the point of keeping an empty birdcage around?)
